Join me as I takes CHESS to inspire children and teenagers of NIGERIAN DIASPORA in BENIN REPUBLIC. Nigerian children, teenagers and youth in living and studying abroad in neighbouring countries like Benin Republic are also potential contributors to the development of their host and country of origin. We henceforth need to ensure that they also benefit from qualitative projects being implemented at home. The aim of the travel is to raise KINGS and QUEENS among them, hence their critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills, improve their cognitive function, thereby helping them to become more mentally sharp and alert to perform well at school, most especially in science related subjects. The long term benefit is their full integration in their host country in order to become significant contributors to the development of their country of origin on the one hand, and be active residents in their country of destination through the transfer of skills, knowledge and experience. During my two day's stay, I will play chess with my fellow citizens alongside benenise children too, deliver motivational speeches and assist the Ambassador of Gift of Chess in Benin Republic in donating chess sets.
