In my latest for @TheCriticMag, I spoke to physicians, palliative care consultants and those with legislative experience about why Canada must reverse the expansion of its assisted suicide regime.

Canadian policies on assisted suicide are incoherent and unsafe, argues @AdamPollock. It is high time they were reversed

Part of the reason fuel prices are so high in Britain is because the government takes 52.95 pence in tax on every single litre of fuel.
For the Americans: gasoline costs on average $10.59 per gallon in Britain, and the Government takes about a third of it as tax.
EXCL: Chancellor set to freeze fuel duty and keep 5p discount at Budget

Haven’t tried it, but apparently putting the bun in the toaster but microwaving the patty is the way to go
Minimum wage is now increasing quicker than private sector pay growth.
This increase, 3.9%, is far better than private sector earnings growth, which is currently at 3.0%.
Factor in student loans repayments, and young people are better off working minimum wage than going to uni.

I genuinely do not get the rationale. Why would anyone try to get a proper job or start a business in this country any more?
The minimum wage will have increased by over 50% since 2020.
There is almost zero incentive now for young people to go to university and attempt to get a more specialised/corporate job in Britain.
The pay simply doesn’t justify it. They’re better off working for minimum wage.

Main problems with box graters is they tend to be lower quality / off brand products and don’t grate as well as the Microplane equivalents, and more inconvenient to clean, as well as taking up more space than if you put the Microplanes in your utensil pot
