I get the "you shouldn't undermine the Court's institutional credibility" takes, but that ship sailed when the GOP got eight years in the WH and five SCOTUS seats despite the majority of the American people rejecting them and the R senators who confirmed their nominees.

He was invited to Church with James Clyburn and this is how he responds.

I'm one of the 63% of Jewish-Americans opposed to the current Israeli government. The ad is still antisemitic.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

63% of Jewish-Americans are opposed to the current Israeli government and 61% believe Israel has committed war crimes. So, saying an ad criticizing Israel’s war crimes is somehow against Jews sounds like a dual loyalty trope. It is empirically incorrect and helps spread antisemitism. Very disappointing.

Watching people burn bridges and destroy themselves over El-Sayed has been wild. If you choose to support him because you simply don’t want Rogers to win I think that’s perfectly reasonable, but gaslighting and accusing people of racism after the shit he has said and supported is bonkers.

This campaign has some of the biggest loser energy you’ll find in politics today.
If the current White House occupant wasn’t so historically unpopular, El-Sayed would lose this Senate seat.
I guess @AbdulElSayed decided it wasn’t clear enough that his “my commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters” bit — is a bunch of bullshit.

They’re trying to cancel Patrick Stewart posthumously because he mentioned Israel a few times on social media. What the fuck are we doing, folks? This is a social contagion.

Why would El-Sayed winning in MI mean that far lefties can win everywhere? Do you actually believe that El-Sayed would be putting up better numbers than Hamilton in KS? Talarico in TX? Peltola in AK?

Once again, the easiest thing in the world to do, he just won’t do. He cannot simply condemn an ugly, antisemitic ad. He is who he is. And once again, he’s telling Michigan voters exactly who he is.

He can’t disavow the ad because he agrees with the bigotry behind it.
It took you 9 hours to produce a word salad that basically says “nope, not gonna stop trafficking in antisemitism”
A lot of Dems want to be able to support the guy, but he’s making it abundantly clear that, at best, he’s completely indifferent to antisemitism and the safety of Jewish Michiganders.
Stevens had wanted him to condemn the @cenkuygur Rebellion PAC ad (a small buy but widely shared) in which a couple discussed how paying higher prices was worth it to "kill Palestinians." El-Sayed not doing that here.

Could have easily just put this to bed like a week ago by saying , "I disagree with the ad and it's premise" but he did not, because he clearly agrees with it.

That Abdul El-Sayed has refused every opportunity to make a simple statement condemning a blatantly false and anti-Semitic ad produced on his behalf tells you pretty much everything you need to know about both his arrogance and his utter contempt for Jewish voters.

Once again, El-Sayed refuses to condemn an anti-Semitic ad produced on his behalf -- and instead attacks Haley Stevens.
Not sure what else to say at this point. He has utter contempt for Jewish voters in Michigan and no one should be surprised that so many are refusing to vote for him.
