Really funny how an unfinished midterm prediction I made back in like May that was meant to be ridiculously optimistic ended up underestimating democrats lmao

Trump is really pulling this move
Trump to NYT: "I am absolutely willing to accept those results. We’ll work with the Democrats, and we’ll, you know, look forward to working with them. We’ll probably work something out."

Con ET after the NY Times polls: "It's okay. The Atlas Intel generic ballot is coming out soon. That will prove this is nonsense."

As much as I like these ideas, the 600 year time skip basically killed any interest I would’ve had playing it. They’re too afraid to canonize an ending and instead tip toe around it and kill off a bunch of important characters for the sake of a vague connection to andromeda
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe. Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development. • Set 600+ years after the Reaper War • You play as a customizable N7 agent • Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond • Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending • A galaxy divided into three major factions • Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together • Council races forming their own alliance • The Geth emerging as a third superpower • A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary • Geth-built megastructures • Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda • Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference • Hacking and manipulating the environment • See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more • Handcrafted missions like ME1-3 • But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them • Brutal close-range executions • Squadmates who can clash with each other • Romance wasn't being sanitised • Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist. It looked incredible. And now we may never get to play it. Find out more here: youtu.be/ZOWrTNazZxM #SaveMassEffect

It’s clearly not synthesis, and control is just so antithetical to the themes of the story I have a hard time seeing them do it, so what’s the harm in canonizing destroy and setting the it 50 years later? You can still do the spy thriller Cold War stuff but in a rebuilding galaxy

Won’t happen, but the next democratic administration ought to bring the full force of the federal government down on these democratic candidates who put their own egos and selfishness over defeating republicans.
Breaking news: Neither independent candidate Seth Bodnar or Democratic nominee Alani Bankhead dropped out of the US Senate race in Montana after the deadline according to the Montana Secretary of State. Source: National Journal

Of all the Senators who I think would end up dying in office, Graham is probably one of the last people I think it would happen to. Absolutely shocking.

One of the many things I dislike about our political system is that parties are just glorified ballot lines with no power to ensure that their candidates aren’t actively harming the party. In any other country they would’ve kicked her off the ballot.
Democratic nominee for Montana Senate Alani Bankhead says she is not dropping out of the race or endorsing independent candidate Seth Bodnar’s bid. Bankhead: “I am never dropping out. Ever. Ever.”

Tbh I’ve lost a little bit of respect for Bernie and AOC for not endorsing Steyer. Yeah yeah I get that it hurts their brand or whatever but allowing California to be governed by a corporate centrist who’ll block almost all progressive policies is inexcusable.

Like, it’s difficult to understate how much of a disaster Becerra would be. He’s incompetent and bought out by literally every corporation in the state, and has made it clear he won’t lift a finger to try and fix the myriad of problems in Cali.

Yeah he’s gotta drop out. Control of the senate is too important to jeopardize.
Keith Edwards, another left-wing political commentator and political strategist, says the NYT is about to run a story that Platner sexually assaulted a woman. #MaineSenate

All I’m going to say is that when California continues to stagnate and decline, democratic voters will have nobody to blame but themselves.

Obviously I support Platner and want him to win, but was him and Mills really the best the party could offer?
