Needed 2ā3 midfielders. ā
Needed a LB. ā
Needed a LW. ā
Needed 1ā2 defenders. ā
Needed a backup striker. ā
Generated so much money last year, only to spend Ā£100M net.
INEOS, youāve let another manager down and wasted a brilliant opportunity to make Manchester United great again.
You have failed this club. @INEOS @OmarBerrada

Since PSR came into effect, Arsenal and Man Utd have only made UCL spots 54% of the time.
Top 5 completely blown open now too. Villa, Brighton, and Brentford all more likely than Man Utd or Spurs to get UCL this season.
But āred cartelā.

Convince your loyal captain to reject Ā£200m from Saudi by promising to stick with the manager and project.
Sack that manager months later, hire someone with no real CV, then drop your captain for analysing what went wrong in a 4-1 humiliation.
Quite something.

Michael Carrick's future was already sealed, but #mufc's hierarchy cannot agree among themselves on his successor [@Romain_Molina]

So Carrick has already been sacked but is staying at the club as the board cannot decided on the replacementā¦ā¦.
Absolute circus! Doing that to a club legend like Carrick is vile!

I get angry watching Dalot here but then I remember that heās not even a f*cking left-back.
Absolute disgrace INEOS didnāt sign one.

šØ NEW: Manchester United plan to sign a 3rd midfielder this summer despite completing an Ā£85M double deal for Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans. They always intended to bring in three and will stick to that after Manuel Ugarteās serious knee injury (with ~Ā£6.5m FIFA compensation incoming).
However, they are NOT chasing a marquee name - they walked away from Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes over high costs, and Aurelien Tchouameni is staying at Real Madrid.
Any further midfield addition is likely to be in the same modest price range as the recent signings rather than a big splash. United also want to strengthen the left side and add another forward, so big spending on midfield isnāt guaranteed. They like Alex Scott but view Bournemouthās Ā£80M price as prohibitive.

A left hand side of Ndiaye/ Cunha at LW
And Dorgu/ + New overlapping attacking LB signing at LB would be nice.
+ 3 midfielders.
Ndiaye very versatile and can play all across the front four. More of a wing fielder than touchline winger which is why we need a LB that holds width for balance.
Iliman Ndiaye is a player which #MUFC are monitoring ahead of the summer. It's understood that the 26 yo would be open at the oppurtunity to a move on what he sees as a dream club in Utd. Yan Diomande still remains high on the list. Very early days + midfield is the priority atm.
