Just so you know Ratcliffe made pretty much the final call on all these decisions despite never working at a football club in his life. But he is so arrogant he thinks he can walk into Man Utd and run it better than qualified sporting directors with heaps of experience. This isn't your local sunday league team, this is Man Utd. A business man with 0 experience in football shouldn't be the person making the final call on every sporting decision it is a joke.
INEOS at Man UtdšŸ‘‡šŸ¼ - Publicly look for a new manager and interview Amorim, only to decide against appointing him. - Keep Ten Hag, give him a new contract and spend Ā£200m on players suited to his system. - Just three months later, sack Ten Hag and appoint the same Amorim they interviewed in the summer, despite him playing a completely different system that demands different players. - Dan Ashworth reportedly argues that Ten Hag should be given more time, or that United should appoint a manager better suited to the summer signings. - Ratcliffe hates that Ashowth disagrees with him (because Jim thinks he knows best) and after spending months and going through legal action to get Ashworth, he’s gone after five months. - Wonder why things get worse under Amorim when the squad isn’t suited to his system. Ratcliffe then says he’ll give Amorim three years. - Wilcox reportedly tells Amorim how he should coach and set up his team. Amorim isn’t happy. Ratcliffe backs Wilcox and sacks Amorim. - Appoint Carrick, lose a huge player in Casemiro, spend next to nothing backing Carrick and then wonder why it goes wrong. - Now they’re reportedly delaying the inevitable with Carrick for financial reasons, leaving everyone in limbo. Ratcliffe said when he arrived that United wouldn’t keep changing between managers with different styles of play. That’s exactly what they’ve done. Berrada said players who don’t perform for two years would be moved on. We sold nobody this summer. They’re liars, they’re incompetent, and this feels like one big vanity project to them.

The fact that a man who’s spent his entire career in energy and chemicals is making the final call on major football decisions at Man Utd is a disgrace. And people wonder why this club is a mess. How about hiring competent football people, stepping back and letting them make the decisions? Instead, we finally hire someone experienced in Dan Ashworth, he reportedly disagrees over calls like Amorim, and he’s gone after five months. All while Ratcliffe continues to make the final call. Every major decision Ratcliffe has got wrong, every decision is reactionary. Then we hear stories of him telling the physios how they can do their job better, and he has experience to tell them this because he runs marathons.. who does this guy think he is? Jim Ratcliffe thinks he knows better than everyone else but the truth is he doesn't. Since he's come into the club our average win rate post fergie has dropped from just over 50% to now near 30%.

Why does Ratcliffe get the final say on every major football decision at Man Utd? What does he actually know? Ashworth had experience at Brighton, Newcastle & WBA and got sacked because he disagreed with Ratcliffe. But the man from the chemical industry is still making the big football decisions (final call) at the biggest club in the world. I always just think if Ratcliffe had stepped back, and let Dan Ashworth do his job things would be very different.
Understand one of the main reasons #MUFC have decided to keep Michael Carrick is due to financial reasons. Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the final decision after talks involving Glazers, Berrada & Wilcox. Carrick could have #CFC, #Roma & #AVFC games. @UtdDistrict roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…

One thing about Man Utd since INEOS have come in is everything now is about what is the cheapest option, what is the cheapest solution. Once you realise that, you won't even be moved or shocked at reports like this.

Regardless of how you feel about Carrick, his staff or the players the way the higher ups have acted and left everyone in limbo is a disgrace. They run this club like we are sunday league level.
- You’re publicly talking to managers, you have been for 3 weeks. - Briefing constantly in the press about your targets. - You have a manager and coaching staff who have been led to believe they are going. - You have not communicated or backed anyone. @ManUtd cowards.

So after Como and Bournemouth, we had briefings that Carrick was going to be sacked and United were looking at replacements. A week of uncertainty, a meeting yesterday… and now we’re told he’s staying. Why leave everyone in limbo for so long? Did other managers reject us? When there were rumours under Amorim, they shut them down straight away. Why not this time? The time it’s taken to make this decision and the lack of organisation is a disgrace. Feels like we bottled sacking him because we either got rejected by our first choice candidate or financial reasons (likely 2nd). I’d love Carrick to turn it around, but Bournemouth was so flat. It looked like the players had given up on him.

What I like about Harry Kane winning the Ballon dOr is that he wasn’t out there campaigning like Mbappe or Yamal for the award. Let your football do the talking!

Imagine being Yamal, Mbappe or Kane having to sit through the ceremony dragging on to see if you’ve won the Ballon dOr must be agonising for them

Fans blaming all our downfalls on Rashford coming back must have some mental illness. Yeah must be Rashford's fault that we didn't sign any defenders🤣

Glazer briefs today… who could’ve predicted this 🤣🤣
🚨 NEW: Sources say the handling of the almost 500 job cuts clashed with Joel’s ā€œsense of decency and old-fashioned values.ā€ Joel was once far more hands-on: he spoke to then-executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward several times a day, personally signed off on trivial expenses such as paint orders for Old Trafford’s maintenance team, and vetoed staff furlough plans during Covid so employees stayed on full pay. He has not attended a game at Old Trafford since the Barcelona Champions League match in April 2019. The Glazers also control the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. [@MarkOgden_]

Would prefer someone with Conte personality to stand up to the board but I do think Eddie Howe reasons for leaving Newcastle was because he didn't want them to sell Bruno G and that and think he would stand up for himself a bit more than people think.

Amorim came 15th, lost a final to Tottenham and had us playing shit football. If he was here this season we would still be shit, his system doesn't work in Prem but could do well in a slower league like Serie A
