We (the community) got HR1044 and S386 in 2019 passed the House and the Senate. Now, one can rightfully ask why I say what @immivoice is doing is the REAL advocacy. For that, the best evidence I can provide you is the press releases by lawmakers where IV has been mentioned. 1/

Every American we've engaged with over the decades agrees: high-skilled immigration benefits us all and demands reform. Yet, each time a bill is proposed, bureaucracy stalls progress. Removing the country cap on employment-based immigration isn't just a step; it's a leap toward fairness and efficiency. Your support in eliminating these arbitrary quotas will resonate for a just public policy.

It would surprise no one that I am very much for high-skilled immigration into the United States.

Completely agree. They could have easily helped legal residents. But it appears they work for immigration cartels, keep millions as indentured to earn and bring more illegal immigrants for profit. Share to #EndModernSlavery xitter.gq/odigroup/status/180559…

@POTUS @VP @USCIS @DHSgov Free millions of immigrants stuck as indentured workers. Forcing them to live lifetime on sponsorship is modern slavery. #EndModernSlavery Allow adjustment of status (EB GC) for long-term workers who have been working in the USA for over a decade.

I would go as far as saying that the Democrats are the enemies of skilled immigration now, all they want to do is flood the country with illegals in the hope that they vote for them when they become citizens.
Disagree @Noahpinion, the shift to the right in Silicon Valley is real. People are fed up with the extreme left degrading moral values and enabling crime. Also, Biden has completely screwed up on immigration—encouraging illegal immigration while locking out the skilled.

With due respect sir, What happened to his promises made on comprehensive immigration reform? Why our @potus doesn't even like the word LEGAL? Sore throat ;)? , is that the reason for not giving voice for legals ?

I am truly stunned by how the administration could justify giving parole in place to 1 million who crossed the border illegally and won’t lift a finger to help people who will be stuck permanently in immigration limbo (and in their own form of detention). Let me explain further :

Every day, the Administration justifies giving parole because it doesn’t have enough detention space. They say this serves a humanitarian purpose. Well, what is being caught in a 200-year backlog? That is simply a form of detention in its own right.

People are detained for life under the custody of their employer—who is serving as their probation officer making sure they don’t get out of line, don’t travel abroad without their permission, and don’t advocate for change without losing their jobs.

Soon, people in the backlog will be too sick or old to remain in the US—where they have bought houses, spent full tuition, paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes, and made the country better through their labor. If this doesn’t scream for an EAD/parole nothing does!

Country of birth is not a skill. There shouldn’t be country cap on skill-based visas just like there is no country cap for @usacricket #TeamUSA.
#USAVsInd cricket India faced brain drain and now player drain will start I propose C-1B visa for USA cricket Rules: -Dependents can only watch matches on the ground; can't play active cricket -No US player should lose a spot in the team even if an Indian player is more talented -EB-6 green card queue with 7% country of birth cap -C-1B amendment required if playing at a different stadium than approved for Please add more conditions as you may feel...

Admin can free up talent for AI tomorrow by giving every backlogged person with an approved I-140 the same combo-card (EAD + AP) currently being given to every other group under the sun. Only reason this does not occur is b/c companies don’t want to lose their indentured labor.

Skilled immigrants can free up and create many more jobs if they are not restricted by their visa status because of never ending #greencardbacklog.
Immigrants are disproportionately likely to create new businesses, or be employed in a critical capacity at firms, so more restrictive immigration policies would actually lead to fewer job opportunities for Americans-especially younger Americans.
