Let’s keep this party going next weekend! #DUUUVAL
Fans who were still at the #jaguars watch party seemed pretty happy with the Jags 33-10 win over Baltimore 😂

According to the Florida Department of Transportation, inspectors are on scene conducting a thorough structural inspection using specialized equipment to assess the damage.
The bridge will remain closed until inspectors can confirm it is safe to reopen. Drivers should avoid the area, seek alternate routes, and allow extra time for their commute.
UPDATE: The Hart Bridge is now reopened to traffic in both directions.

The former Atlanta mayor makes history as the first Black woman elected governor of Georgia.
Florida voters have approved Amendment 3.
The amendment increases the homestead exemption for non-school property taxes to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028. That means many homeowners could see lower property tax bills.

Angie Nixon addressing supporters after losing US Senate race to Ashley Moody:
“I’m going to wake up tomorrow and keep fighting”

Moody, former attorney general, was appointed to the Senate by Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2025 following Marco Rubio’s departure. She will now serve Jan. 2029.
I don’t care if you’re a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or somewhere in between. YOUR VOTE MATTERS! 🇺🇸
We spend a lot of time complaining about what’s happening in Washington, Tallahassee, and our own communities. Well, today is your chance to have a say!

On October 30, 2026, a Clay High School Student came to school wearing an outfit that consisted of camouflage and commando-style gear, including a tactical vest with pouches, a ballistic helmet and a radio. A school employee saw the individual, didn't recognize them or know if they were a student at the time and saw them turn and immediately leave school property; this prompted extreme concern about his behavior and disruption to the school environment.
The school was placed on a SECURE status as we conducted our investigation. After locating the student off-campus and being interviewed, the student was arrested on a misdemeanor for disrupting a school function. The student is also being disciplined in accordance with the Clay County District Schools Student
Code of Conduct.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office takes all threats involving our schools extremely seriously and we appreciate the coordination with Clay County District Schools to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff. Protecting our students and providing a safe, secure environment for learning will always be our top priority.
