I think people really underestimate how hard it is for a Muslim to get elected. Amir Hassan was a veteran backed by Trump, campaigned with him, and he lost the Republican primary to a dude with $2k in funds and had DROPPED OUT a month prior because people THOUGHT he was Muslim.
