Lady constables driving under the influence of alcohol. A vehicle without number plates. Who is enforcing the law when those expected to uphold it are breaking it? Has Pune become a city where traffic rules are a joke, the powerful get away with anything, and accountability is DEAD? Pune deserves answers, not excuses. WHO WILL SAVE PUNE? #PuneCarAccident #DrinkAndDrive #PunePolice #RichBrats #RoadSafety #SavePune

Pune: PMC imposes ₹5.48 crore penalty on Malpani Ventures over alleged unauthorised road digging in Baner Pune, October 27, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Road Department has imposed a penalty of ₹5.48 crore on Malpani Ventures for allegedly digging roads without permission to lay an electrical cable for a construction project in Baner. The case concerns a project on Survey No. 33/1/9. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) youth wing Maharashtra president Raviraj Baban Kale said the penalty followed his party’s efforts to pursue the matter. The claim has not been independently verified. Kale urged the civic body to recover the amount promptly. He also called for work-stop notices to be issued to the company’s ongoing construction projects in Pune if it fails to pay. He said the Road Department wrote to an executive engineer in the Building Development Department on October 12, 2026, regarding the matter. Kale cited an earlier case involving unauthorised road digging for a construction project on Survey No. 23 in Balewadi. He said the PMC had imposed and collected a penalty of ₹1.28 crore in that case. The AAP leader also called for the company’s other ongoing projects in Pune to be investigated to determine whether roads were dug without permission to lay electrical cables. He said the party would ask the municipal commissioner to take action if anyone had tried to shield the company. The allegations concern unauthorised road excavation and breaches of civic rules. The material provided did not include a response from Malpani Ventures or the PMC on the penalty or the calls for further action.

Kind attn Punekars. The @PMCPune is brazenly defying the directives of the Bombay High Court ordering it to make IRC standard roads and there is no action against its officers or contractors. However , @CPPuneCity found it fit to put #SantoshPandit behind bars for his bad road campaign which is breaking commuters' backs and even killing them. @QaneezS @Dev_Fadnavis @SunetraA_Pawar @mieknathshinde @navalMH @PuneCityPolice Kindly release Santosh Pandit.

So. Basically there is ZERO coordination between Mahametro, Project Dept PMC (for #HCMTR) and Road Dept PMC (all the proposed and under construction flyovers) Yet the proposed Metro lines, HCMTR and flyovers intersect or are parallel at many junctions This is not traffic planning but a complete failure of governance
