Just wanted to add my voice to those saying this is ridiculous. I highly doubt there is any link between saying, "What's the deadline?" and real world violence.
This is about someone's unhealthy need to control the world around them, dressed up as a social cause.
All the people suggesting that big tech firms could continue to hold their positions with 75% fewer employees are foolish. Sure, they may be more profitable in the short run & able to maintain existing infrastructure, but I don't believe they'd have the capacity to keep building.
