One of the greatest friend of Pakistan too
"WHY politicise cricket?"
Remembering Former Indian captain Bishan Singh Bedi on his death anniversary.
One of the best left arm spinners to ever play the game, Bedi played 67 Tests for India between 1967 & 1979 taking away 266 wickets. He took 1560 First Class wickets which speaks volume for his skill set.
Bedi was an advocate for #INDvsPAK bilateral cricket series.
He said, "Why politicise cricket? Cricket is a platform to come closer. I am not talking anti-India if I am asking for a cricket series with Pakistan. Let’s not narrow down the meaning of patriotism.”
He was a close friend of former Pakistan Captain Mushtaq Mohammad and some other Pakistani cricketers of that era.

When the wonderful Michael Clark visited Pak, I requested him to share our heartfelt respect & admiration for Steve Waugh, who brought us so much joy & inspiration throughout his illustrious career. We’ve bn captivated by his brilliant tactics & the impact he's made on the game.❤️
Remembering one of the most natural comedian/actor Deven Verma on his birth anniversary.
My favourite film of Deven Verma : Andaz Apna Apna!

Shoaib Malik in Sharjah Champions Trophy 1999:
Wickets: 9 (2nd highest)
Avg: 18.1
Econ: 4.1
Bbi: 2/21
27 years ago, 1999 Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in Sharjah CT final.
17 years old Shoaib Malik, in his debut tournament, took wickets of big names like Brian Lara, Chanderpaul & Jayawardena.
I feel, Shoaib Malik underachieved with his immense talent. He wasn’t treated fairly as well tbh!

Depending on Team selection and approach, best possible result will be to qualify for SF. Maximum 10 percent chance
India, Aus, SA, NZ, England they are way ahead of us

Many batsmen will come and go. Records will be broken, centuries will be scored, averages will be maintained & higher SRs. But there will never be a single player come who will be equivalent to Sachin Tendulkar as a player and person. His influence will be the highest in cricket.

They crumble under pressure.
Shaheen bowls at 132-135 below average
Haris cant bowl in death overs and ironically thats his job.
Naseem
However has improved his pace but he fails mostly in secondly spell
So tbf i gv them 15-20 percent
Dennis Lillee talked to Sachin Tendulkar and famously advised him to stop trying to be a fast bowler and focus on batting.
In 1987, a 14-year-old Sachin Tendulkar visited the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai, India, hoping to train as a fast bowler.
Dennis Lillee, who was the head coach and director of the academy, observed Tendulkar and told him to forget about bowling and concentrate entirely on his batting.
Tendulkar followed the advice, shifting his focus to become one of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, finishing his career with 100 international centuries.
Lillee later joked that he felt embarrassed for rejecting him as a pacer, adding that he "did cricket a favour".

“spoiled brats who look down upon the poor as if they were lesser human beings ..”
This sick disparity/ culture will only end after VIP and Protocols finish or rather realistically minimised!
This is a tight slap in the face of those entitled, spoiled brats who look down upon the poor as if they were lesser human beings. They arrogantly believe that money and power put them above the law, allowing them to exploit, intimidate, and act with impunity.
Let me make one thing absolutely clear: As Chief Minister of Punjab, I stand firmly with the oppressed, regardless of how powerful their oppressors may be. No amount of wealth, influence, or political connections should enable anyone to escape accountability. Justice is not a privilege reserved for the rich and powerful; it is a fundamental right of every citizen. No one is above the law, and no victim should ever have to fight alone simply because the perpetrator has money or influence.

0% until mgmt with +ve mindset comes in. Few of these players look promising but again flat track bullies. You can't build a champion team until you play in extreme conditions and perform there consistently, rather than taming insipid rivals under conditions that suit you more.
How much % chances would you give Pakistan to win the World Cup 2027 with this bowling attack?
I will give a generous 25% and you?
I used to think radio was about talking.
Years behind the microphone taught me it’s about the pause. The breath after a question, just before the answer. That’s where people take a pause and start talking about the real them.
I’ve watched a millionaire and a labourer taking that pause at the same silence. Both started the same sentence the same way: “sach kahon tau”
[translated: You know, honestly…”]
On air, titles disappear. Wealth disappears. Only the voice remains, and a voice can’t hide who you are.
What the decades of studio experience taught me:
🎙 Listen more than you speak
🎙 Don’t be afraid of the pause
🎙 What a person truly means always arrives last
You don’t need a microphone to be heard. You only need one person willing to listen.
Be that person today!
