One of the greatest friend of Pakistan too
"WHY politicise cricket?"
Remembering Former Indian captain Bishan Singh Bedi on his death anniversary.
One of the best left arm spinners to ever play the game, Bedi played 67 Tests for India between 1967 & 1979 taking away 266 wickets. He took 1560 First Class wickets which speaks volume for his skill set.
Bedi was an advocate for #INDvsPAK bilateral cricket series.
He said, "Why politicise cricket? Cricket is a platform to come closer. I am not talking anti-India if I am asking for a cricket series with Pakistan. Let’s not narrow down the meaning of patriotism.”
He was a close friend of former Pakistan Captain Mushtaq Mohammad and some other Pakistani cricketers of that era.

Depending on Team selection and approach, best possible result will be to qualify for SF. Maximum 10 percent chance
India, Aus, SA, NZ, England they are way ahead of us

Many batsmen will come and go. Records will be broken, centuries will be scored, averages will be maintained & higher SRs. But there will never be a single player come who will be equivalent to Sachin Tendulkar as a player and person. His influence will be the highest in cricket.

0% until mgmt with +ve mindset comes in. Few of these players look promising but again flat track bullies. You can't build a champion team until you play in extreme conditions and perform there consistently, rather than taming insipid rivals under conditions that suit you more.

And Sri Lanka showed that if you don't have good spinners, it is difficult to survive here.

Look at SL batting. Wow !!! Yet Pakistani batters don’t have enough courage to go big on home conditions.

Pitches designed for Pakistani King are finally getting benefited by Overseas players lol How unfortunate for batsmen who fail on such home conditions.

A historic knock! Harry Brook has taken ODI batting to another level. Absolute class! 🤯🔥

With Faheem & Hasan Ali I’m afraid that if the team has to defend 60 in 2 overs & one of them has a over left, even a tailender would fancy & club anyone of them for 6 sixes.
