Surviving Sector Nine requires learning to watch the sky and the ground at the exact same time. The game constantly forces a split focus between timing anti-gravity jumps over sudden craters and blasting the UFOs dropping missiles from above. It is incredibly easy to get so distracted by a hovering ship that a basic moon rock completely ruins the run. Balancing that attention gets even harder when adjusting the rover speed. Accelerating to chase a checkpoint bonus often leads straight into a landmine, while slowing down makes clearing the wider gaps nearly impossible.
