We are finally getting a look behind the government's covert efforts to access the contents of Americans' phones by seizing them at the border, without a warrant or even individualized suspcison.
In @adc's latest phone seizure case, Imam v. Mullin, the court in the Eastern District of Virginia ordered the gov't to provide information about precisely what it did with our clients' phones and laptops from declarants with firsthand knowledge. The government submitted declarations that appeared to redact the relevant information, including the basis for the seizures, as well as what was done with Plaintiff Imam's devices.
Judge Brinkema just found these redactions unwarranted and ordered the government to unseal most of them.

“It blames Israel for all the ills in America” is an obvious strawman, Elissa. And even if it weren’t, blaming Israel, a nation state, for 100% of problems wouldn’t necessarily be “antisemitic,” which is related to the religion of Judaism not the state of Israel. We are talking about foreign policy here, not secularism.
So, which specific claim in this sequence of events alluded to in the ad is “antisemitic”:
Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump, and several members of Congress say in the days after the Iran War begins that they struck Iran because Iran was going to strike Israel. Netanyahu famously met with the president and his inner circle in the situation room to pitch them on the war he has been advocating for over the last 40 years. This is reported in various outlets including NYT and AP. It has also been reported that the intelligence they provided us about Iran's ICBM and nuclear capabilities was knowingly false.
Upon the war beginning, Iran took control over the Strait of Hormuz, which they had not previously controlled, disrupting the supply chain.
This development led to rising prices across the board, including at the grocery store. It has already been widely reported that one of those groceries which has seen a dramatic increase is bananas, the fruit referenced in that ad.
Therefore, using inductive reasoning, this means that Israel pushing us to join them in the war against Iran and lying directly to our leaders in order to facilitate that involvement quite literally led to higher banana prices less than a year later.
Is any of that antisemitic? It would be weird if it were given I was Bar Mitzvah’d.

What are two big lessons we can learn from Brazil's shock election? First, Lula is one of the 21st century's few, true political giants.
"There are few people who have more significantly changed their country and the world than Lula."
Second, this was not a "shock" election:

This girl isn’t a Ben Gvir support btw, she was at the Ben Gvir rally to criticize him from the right. It was too confusing for the Guardian so they didn’t even get into that. We spoke to her on the phone: thedragnet.substack.com/p/we…
Replying to @loffredojeremy
@loffredojeremy spoke to @cherutLmoledet, the viral “Ben Gvir supporter.”
It turns out she does not actually support Ben Gvir, who she says is not effective enough.

Mike Waltz, the archetypal Ugly American, who previously threatened the safety of the Iranian UN ambassador, loses it on Cuba’s rep, barking, “This is America, back up!”
Waltz was defending the sadistic US starvation siege of Cuba, which has spiked infant mortality rates by 150%

It would be good if Netanyahu loses, he’s a deeply corrupt bloodthirsty egomaniac. But the moral and strategic crisis of Israel and Judaism has little to do with him. The Zionist project is broadly supported in Israel and that’s the driver of the authoritarianism and genocide.

This is her climbing the Erez Crossing into the portion of Gaza Israel ethnically cleansed.
There is a growing number of Israeli Jews upset that Ben-Gvir isn't genocidal enough. Western media doesn't cover this, and pretends like Ben-Gvir is the far right.

Antony Blinken visited Israel some 12-15 times in his four years as SecState.
He visited the entire continent of Africa 4x.
As @stephenWalt points out in the latest round table on Israel’s Lobby: this is one of the hidden costs of the special relationship. The time and attention of senior officials is the scarcest resource in government, and a small, well-funded lobby claims a huge share of it.

The Israeli election results are in: Israelis today demand more genocide, more ethnic cleansing, more Iran War fought by the U.S., and more propaganda and spying ops against the United States

In just the first eight months of the president’s regime change war, the cost to every American household has exceeded $1,100 in increased fuel prices alone. For context, households that benefit from the “no tax on tips” or “no tax on overtime” provisions were expected to save approximately $1,400 per year

Arab citizens of Israel, whom Huckabee notably does not consider Israelis, can vote.
The millions of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, whose freedom of movement and every facet of existence is controlled by the occupying power, Israel, cannot.
There were some free blacks in the south during slavery. Hardly proves slavery didn’t exist
Today is election day in Israel, which is a national holiday. All voting is in person, ID required. No mail-in or absentee ballots. Arabs vote same as Israelis. Contentious process, but it's a democracy-not many of those in this region!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Arab voters are Israeli citizens. Listing them in contrast to Israelis is misconstruing the facts.

Israel should "conquer" all of Gaza and send the refugees to France, Britain, and other European countries, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir tells the Jerusalem Post in Hebrew.
Gaza is "Jewish territory," he insists.
