Evan Bouchard is having one of the greatest starts in NHL history for a defenseman. Has three games to move into the third best start.
And for those claiming he's only good offensively, he's been on for eight goals against 5x5, same as Jaccob Slavin.

Hockey is core to our national identity and itβs great to see a government finally acknowledging it.
Good on Cardus and @renzenauta for confronting this public policy failure.
We have allowed gambling advertisers to incubate an entire generation of addicts using massively popular sports broadcasts.
One study found that Ontarians watching live sports were exposed to 2.8 references to sports betting every minute.
Testifying on Bill S-211 before a House of Commons committee, Cardusβs @renzenauta drew attention to this startling fact and the dangers the proliferation of sports betting ads poses for fans, especially young people. When Parliament legalized single-event sports betting, the goal was to bring an activity already happening on the black market into a legal market where it could be regulated and taxed. The flood of advertising since then works against that goal.
βThe whole purpose of advertising is to increase demand,β he said.

How rare is an interim leader winning an election?
I could only find one precedent.
Not just in Canada - in all Westminster countries at the national or provincial/state levels.
Searched UK, Australia, NZ.
Just found one.

I had @EdmontonOilers season tickets for 4 years. Over that timeframe, tickets doubled. Cost of concessions also went up by 30-40%
One of the greatest to ever play the game is lighting it up right now, and the team has completely priced fans out of watching it. Absolutely sad.
My sons are using my seats while I am away and they say this has been the norm since the home openerβ¦.
Have the Oilers finally out priced βthe tier 2β fans?? (Said with a grain of salt, so relax!)
Reality finally hit this organization??

Again, there's a funny paradox here, which is that there has not been a housing crisis in Edmonton since about 1948, as you well know if you have invested in housing in Edmonton, and it's not clear how much infill was really helping with affordability.
