If you see something, say something. I saw this incredible piano battle and had to say something about it. Truly magnificent. For context, “Rush E” is one of the most complicated pieces of music in existence.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Iran: Today more than ever, it is essential to remember that one can be against a hateful regime, as is the case with the Iranian regime, as is the whole of Spanish society, and at the same time be against an unjustified, dangerous military intervention outside of international law. That one must be against a war initiated without the authorization of the United States Congress or the United Nations Security Council and, as I have said before, one that violates international law. And that there is always room for a negotiated solution, instead of being dragged along by the devastation of arms as the only possible way out. Therefore, I would like once again, as we have done since the beginning, to appeal for immediate de-escalation, for full respect for international law in all the conflicts we are unfortunately suffering, and for the urgency of resuming dialogue as soon as possible. That is where Spain will be, and that is where I believe the whole of the European Union should be.

“As Pierre Poilievre’s favourability nears rock bottom, we remind you that he voted against the Canadian Dental Care Plan, $10/day child care, the National School Food Program and the Canada Child Benefit — all while whining about the affordability crisis.”
“The Conservatives aren’t as much a political party as they are a ChatGPT-based slogan-generating algorithm speaking through the mouth of eveyone’s least favourite muppet, Pierre Poilievre — who has accomplished nothing during his 20+ years in Parliament.” cultmtl.com/2026/01/observat…

Canada must stand with Denmark, Ukraine, and Greenland. Look at the map. We’ve already heard the expression of “territorial interest”. Territorial sovereignty has to mean something.
JD Vance: “Denmark not doing its job, not being a good ally…if that means we need to take more territorial interest in greenland that is what president trump is going to do.”

.@FranceskAlbs responding to the Israeli ambassador launching a long personal attack against her in his speech and accusing her of witchcraft (which the Chair reprimanded him for thereafter): "Look, it is grotesque and frankly delusional that a genocidal state can't respond to the substance of my findings, and the best thing that he resorts to is accusing me of witchcraft. So be it. You're the one accused of genocide, if the worst thing you can accuse me for is witchcraft, I take it. But rest assured that if I had the power to make spells, I would use it not for vengeance. I would use it to stop your crimes once and for all, and to make sure that those responsible end up behind bars. And I would make sure that everyone from the river to the sea - Jewish people, Muslim people, Christian people and secular people - lived in freedom and enjoying their rights, not just a privilege for few - again, between the river and the sea."

My goodness, do you mean to say that the government of Canada did not leap to accept a "deal" from the lunatic who has vowed to annex the country and destroy our auto industry? What were they thinking?!
Make no mistake: It's Mark Carney's failure to get a deal that caused the breakdown in talks!

As a mother, you should feel even more empathy for the Indigenous mothers whose children were ripped from their communities — some of them would never come home. Instead, you chose to be a hateful weirdo. It’s freak behaviour to behave like this. Was silence not an option?
Today, BC Conservative Leader John Rustad fired me from my position as Comms Officer with the Conservative Party of BC Caucus. It was because of this tweet. I am a mother of two young children, and I am 32 weeks pregnant -- I was about to go on maternity leave. More to come.

The sites in Canada where human remains have been confirmed, found on the premises of former residential schools, based on excavations or accidental discoveries (distinct from unconfirmed ground-penetrating radar anomalies), are as follows: Blue Quills Indian Residential School (Saddle Lake, Alberta): Partial human remains, including numerous child-sized skeletons, have been repeatedly discovered since 2004 during cemetery work. Dunbow Industrial School (also known as St. Joseph's Industrial School, near High River, Alberta): Remains of 34 children were exposed by a flood in 1996 and identified/re-interred in 2001. Battleford Industrial School (Battleford, Saskatchewan): 72 graves containing human remains were excavated and documented in 1974. Muskowpetung Indian Residential School (Lestock, Saskatchewan): 19 bodies were discovered in 1992 during water system work. Qu'Appelle Indian Residential School (Lebret, Saskatchewan, associated with Star Blanket Cree Nation): Remains of one child were found in January 2023. Not to mention the horrific abuses incurred against thousands of residential school children over a 150-year period. The Sixties Scoop. Anyone who wants to debate recognizing those abuses as "yer not makin' me feel guilty" is a useless contributor to Canadian Society. Souless. Pathetic. And useless.
Replying to @ItsDeanBlundell
No bodies were ever found dean. We're there abuses in the residential schools? Sure, like there were abuses in all schools systems at the time. We didnt even have child protection laws until the 70s.

And for those in Canada who feel safe that our constitution is not under attack - think again The IDU, Stephen Harper, MAGA, the US right wing group funding MAGA all know that our constitution CAN be changed, and installing corrupt premiers is part of the recipe (the 7/50 rule)
Exactly While Trump's second term could hardly be described as a soft open for authoritarianism, they still have to tread softly with their military - since they all swore allegiance to the constitution, not Donnie Dipshit It will take more time to cancel the constitution

When Canada needed oil during WWII, Imperial was under Crown control serving the public interest. Now it's 70% owned by ExxonMobil. Billions in profits, cutting 1 in 5 jobs. The biggest enemy of fossil fuel workers is not climate activists. It's the industry itself.

Grocery price increases in Canada are largely attributed to feed issues for beef caused by drought, causing skyrocketing prices: Mike von Massow, University of Guelph Professor; Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics. Eat that, Poilievre, you toxic, rage-farming liar.
