Chasing clicks on social media has caused society to lose all respect for people. Personal and professional lives are disrupted without consent and shared with the world. A man at work is targeted by a click chaser playing a joke on him. He is a father supporting his four kids and a mortgage to pay. He angrily, and rightly so, responds that it is not funny and not a joke. What will it take for people to stop this behavior? How much blame should fall on social media companies?
