Finished the regular season 8-2 overall, earning outright Federal League Champions for the first time in 25 years! Had a great regular season with a lot to be proud of. Excited for the opportunity to compete in the playoffs! Here are a few highlights ⬇️⬇️

Peyton Manning says 8 years of pointless wet-ball drills finally paid off in the Super Bowl, and says he and Jeff Saturday practiced taking snaps in the rain every Thursday before Super Bowl XLI and it never mattered until that night when Chicago had 3 fumbled snaps and they had 0
“I’ll tell you a good Super Bowl story about Jeff Saturday real quick. Every Thursday during our entire career in Indianapolis, Jeff and I played together forever, we always did wet-ball drills. We’re taking snaps before practice and the equipment guy is spraying water on the football, creating the environment.”
“Jeff would get so mad because he’d say, ‘Peyton, we’re playing in the RCA Dome this week. There’s no chance of rain.’ And I’m like, ‘You never know. You’ve got to prepare anyway.’ We did that for eight years. Every Thursday, no matter what.”
“We get to the Super Bowl, and it’s raining cats and dogs. We have zero fumbled snaps. The Bears have three fumbled snaps. And I said, ‘That’s why we’ve been doing the wet-ball snap drill all these years.’ So those little things pay off in the Super Bowl. They pay off.”

Essential drill. I personally call it the "Shout Drill". Here's a small clip of Coach June running the drill at training camp with the Seattle Sea Dragons.

These numbers go beyond the scoreboard. 🏈📚
Our football players have collectively earned more than 275 college credits, with some on track to enter college as sophomores. They’re making the most of opportunities at Jackson — preparing for what comes after high school while competing for their school and community. On top of that, the team's top 22 GPAs is a 4.0 — the measure used for state team academic honors!
On the field, they finished undefeated in Federal League play and brought home Jackson’s first outright league championship in 25 years.
Now, in our eighth consecutive playoff appearance, the Polar Bears host Hudson in the second round Friday at 7 p.m. at Robert Fife Stadium. Let's come out to make sure we fill the stadium for these student-athletes.
Join us in cheering on a team giving Jackson plenty to be proud of! 💜💛

Classic Mike Leach talking Vertical for the outside WR here:
“If you can see the ball thrown all the better because you can adjust to it.”
“The most important time to take a peak is as the defender begins to turn.”
“Marino drill” builds chemistry with the QB
“If I’ve got that guy pinned put a lot of air under the ball, let the wr adjust to the ball, you want to get accurate all of a sudden have your QB put air under the ball.”
“I can’t believe how accurate he is?!? Well the WR did half the work. The WR had plenty of time to run to and adjust to the football.”
“A lot of it was the technique with his eyes”
“Keep in mind There is a value even when you miss.”
“Quarterbacks make decisions, receivers run routes.”
“The WR is not entitled to guess oh gee he might throw it behind me”
