CoreWeave raised $18 billion in debt in Q2 2026 alone. They are spending roughly 35 times their annual operating income on new hardware while their annualized interest expense is tracking toward $3.6 billion against just $1 billion in adjusted operating income.
I modeled three scenarios and they all involve massive pain for $CRWV equity holders. Why?
Deploying off-the-shelf gear financed with 15% debt yields is not building an infrastructure moat. Rather that's a negative-carry trap where adding new clusters simply accelerates the implosion of your business. Keeping older GPUs online then running longer deprecation schedules does not fix the problem.
For any fund, enterprise, or research lab relying on neocloud capacity, the counterparty risk with CoreWeave isn't acceptable.

Steve shared Braelyn’s story and called out the FDA, saying it’s CRUEL to withhold promising investigational treatments from desperately ill patients.
Varney agreed, arguing that patients facing terminal illnesses should have the freedom to accept the risks of experimental treatments without liability concerns preventing companies from providing them.
Then Steve asked a powerful question:
“Whatever happened to my body, my choice?”
He also pointed out that President Trump supports Right to Try, yet significant barriers remain between patients and the treatments they desperately need.
