No applause for Mayor Mamdani? This compromise wouldn’t have happened without the Mayor’s leadership. He led the push for taxing the wealthy, with no help from you.
I applaud @GovKathyHochul for this smart way to generate revenue from those who can and should pay their fair share.
We need to unrig the system and tackle wealth inequality urgently. This is an important step.
