It is absolutely ILLEGAL for local governments to spend tax dollars in attempts to influence elections, but the City of Midlothian literally mailed out a fake “VOTER GUIDE” clearly advocating for the bonds to pass.
Tax dollars should never be used to campaign for HIGHER PROPERTY TAXES... while also LYING to the public! (Despite this dishonest mailer’s claims, all bonds are property tax increases.)
My constituents, and all Texas taxpayers, should never have their own money weaponized against them by local governments lobbying for more taxes and debt.
Elected officials should be cutting and ELIMINATING PROPERTY TAXES… not using tax dollars to campaign for higher property taxes!!

VETERANS BACK TRUMP ARCH: Several veterans organizations filed a legal brief Wednesday supporting construction of President Donald Trump's planned triumphal arch near Arlington National Cemetery, according to a report.
The Vietnam Veterans of America, Veterans for America First, and other veterans groups joined the friend-of-the-court brief opposing a lawsuit seeking to block the 250-foot monument.
VoteVets, the largest Democrat veterans group in America, had posted about the filing on Instagram.

🚨 An estimated 90,000 to 100,000 foreign students on visas are enrolled at colleges across the state of Texas.
Not 9,000. Not 10,000. 90,000 to 100,000.
Dr. Taylor Eighmy is the current president of the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
His salary is a nice $1.26 MILLION following a 37% increase last year, with perks that would make you throw up.
Under his watch, UTSA has become a breeding ground for communist and Marxist ideology, radical Islam, and the glorification of terrorism, including a disturbing culture of celebrating assassinations.
His campus hosts over 1,000 students on visas, many from nations hostile to the United States.
In June of this year, during Erika Kirk’s appearance at a TPUSA event on campus, a student reenacted Charlie Kirk’s assassination, repeatedly throwing themselves to the ground as though they had been shot.
One of the organizations involved in the protest surrounding Erika Kirk’s appearance was “Right to Rebel,” a student activist group at the university.
That student groups is growing. I've watched their numbers increase over the last few months.
Students now openly promote communist ideology and glorify U.S.-designated terrorist organizations like Hamas.
Among the books distributed on campus is a tribute to Yahya Sinwar, the former Hamas leader and architect of the Oct 7 massacres.
One of their shining students was filmed reciting a poem celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder, then told a TPUSA speaker he was “brave” for showing up on campus without a neck brace.

While Dr. Eighmy’s campus descends into nightmare fuel, he’s guaranteed a tenured professorship when he steps down, $200K in personal research funding, and enjoys a swanky country club membership.
