Me and Devin are using @DevinAI to train and deploy custom models on @modal, and it’s easier than you’d think
This is a good basic template to get you started

Nobody at Rox writes evals anymore.
Devin now QAs our agent every week, on real traffic.
It reads real conversations with our agent, rebuilds each failure in a full copy of Rox, and turns it into an eval. We just review the PR.
The eval suite already covers 72% of real usage happening in the product, vs. 43–57% for the evals we used to write by hand.
And it’s growing week over week with Devin.

Dynamic workflows let Devin split a big job into pieces, hand each one to its own Devin, and bring the results back together.
The plan for a Dynamic Workflow lives in code instead of an agent’s head, so you always know which Devins will run, in what order, and what each one is told.

Devins can start managed Devins of their own, so one task can branch into a tree of Devins several levels deep.
Work done in sequence takes as long as all its parts added together, while work split this way takes roughly as long as its slowest part.
So size stops being the reason a task gets postponed, since a larger task simply produces a larger tree.

How I built this:
I've rebuilt Microsoft word for the so called "New Media"
It's better to write tweets on X. And it's more natural to write a Slack message in Slack. Or a Linkedin post on Linkedin.
The medium is part of the message.
So last night I made a distraction-free place to craft your posts

Security Swarm sends a swarm of parallel Devins through your codebase to build a threat model, hunt down real, exploitable vulnerabilities (even ones chained across files), prove them in a sandbox, and hand you the fix as a pull request.
Here's how it works:

Demand for SWE-2 in Desktop & CLI is unprecedented. Glad to announce, we were able to secure additional compute.
We're making SWE-2 free in Devin Cloud for Pro, Max & Teams subscribers - until October 8. Enjoy!

The most technically interesting part of this was building a self-improving AI loop
Traditionally we think of coding agents as tools to do work faster, but we are quickly moving into a world where async agentic work is fully decoupled from human work
This means you can build an AI system that is fully self-improving & can perform experiments and react to results.
Based on OpenClaw-style heartbeats, we built a similar system using a bunch of Devin automations:
- Calling: Agent dialed restaurants in a morning and an afternoon window on weekdays.
- Review: Agent read every transcript afterward and edited the phone agent's prompt.
- Idea: Agent once a day, picked one new thing to try.
- Webhook: When money or a call came in, an event woke a fifth kind of Devin to handle it.
Every ~20 minutes a heartbeat ran in the form of a Devin automation.
Each heartbeat is its own Devin session + its own sandbox VM. They all begin by bulling down the "brain" from s3

News is out: I joined Cognition, and SWE 2.0 is now generally available.
It’s been a pleasure locking in with the team to ship our best coding model yet. Here’s to many more releases together.
In the last few days: $2B raised, a model launch, and we’re not done yet for the week. Stay tuned.

I migrated the devin dot ai marketing website from Astro to Next.js last week entirely with Devin's cloud agent. This was made possible mostly because of Devin's ability to test and record itself. This was critical for finding and reproducing nuanced bugs and then verifying parity between the old and new sites systematically.
I've become extremely cloud agent-pilled. I still haven’t setup my laptop for local development since joining Cognition and it’s still unclear to me when I will have to. Working with Devin in Slack (with coworkers) and the webapp with the latest crop of models is better in every possible way so far, even for frontend work
