It’s in app developers. I find tech reviewers all converging towards the same simplistic “professional” critics of old media. It’s sad tbh. I think positivity about tech is a better long term winning strategy. Negative may work short term.

The exact same thing happened on the iPhone 5, iPhone X and it literally did not matter in the long run. It’ll be a rough month or two and then we will all forget it even happened.

I was going to wait for the second generation, but I don't think this will be a yearly release, and it doesn't seem that bad, so I might get it. I don't upgrade my iPhone every year, so I'm still on a 16 Pro. Running two apps side by side seems like the biggest advantage of this device, and I need that.

Developers will catch up. This has more to do with the secrecy before the product launched so developers will need time to update their apps. For future releases we shouldn’t see this be an issue as developers will have the current model to work off of 🤔

Yep, this shouldn’t be a problem in the coming weeks. Not exactly a big cause for concern anyway. Plus he needed to get the video out on day one… just wish he didn’t NEED to do the video and waited till at least Friday.
