It’s been 14 months since I last toed the line of an ultra marathon. It was fitting that I made my return to the sport at The Inaugural Saddles 50 Mile out on by Michael Versteeg with support from Satisfy Running.
Check out how my day played out on this classic. Course around Prescott, AZ.

The very first YouTube video I ever made on the @RunSteepGetHigh channel was this beauty (posted July 2, 2014). I ran from KT Aid station to Telluride on the @hardrock100 route as a course preview to show current course conditions.
I had a really hard time talking to the camera and an even harder time listening to myself speak while editing (which is why I scrubbed out most of my talking).
Oh and should out to the @UDhydrates nipple bottles. This was pre-soft flask era.

We are now 2 weeks away from the 2023 @hardrock100. I've been attending the event since 2007 and I've been fortunate enough to run and finish this race 6 times.
Over the years I've filmed quite a few videos of myself running the Hardrock, training and just the event itself.
This year our team will be bringing a live broadcast to the race. I thought it could be fun to re-live several of our past videos here on Twitter. I will be posting them in their entirety to build the stoke!
Here is my first attempt of filming the 2014 edition where I paced @timmyolson_run from Grouse Gulch through a horrendous rainstorm over 14,058' Handies Peak to Cunningham Gulch.
Let me know if you'd like to see more in the coming days!

So much ignorance regarding the coverage limitations of #WS100. The first half of the course makes coverage unbelievably difficult and inconsistent. Maybe learn before complaining. – at Chandler, AZ
