Itβs going bad places. Trumpβs going to set the Middle East on fire and leave. This will cripple the global economy. Everything is essentially an extended murder-suicide for him now.
BREAKING: Pentagon prepares every major US military base to operate for at least 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies, anticipating a major war that could cripple power grids, break global supply chains and threaten critical infrastructure on US soil, per Fox News.
The plans include portable nuclear reactors, large-scale battery storage and microgrids able to disconnect installations from the civilian electrical grid entirely.

Fact #9. Itβs a cascade, like dominoes. Climate risk wipes out insurance markets, which wipes out mortgages, which wipes out property values (unless youβve got a zillionaire paying cash), which wipes out the economy β a βsystemic risk.β Look it up. Itβs not pretty.

Is this beyond you @MattForTN
I'm an American, a U.S. Army veteran, and I live in Europe.
And I'll tell you something that might upset a few people back home.
I want my fellow Americans to enjoy the same rights, freedoms, and quality of life that millions of Europeans already enjoy.
I want Americans to have access to affordable healthcare without worrying about going bankrupt because they got sick.
I want American students to pursue higher education without burying themselves in decades of debt.
I want Americans to enjoy stronger digital privacy laws, meaningful consumer protections, paid parental leave, and guaranteed paid vacation.
I want police officers held to rigorous standards of accountability, where de-escalation is emphasized and deadly force is genuinely a last resort.
I want Americans to understand that freedom isn't just about what the government cannot do to you. It's also about having the security and opportunity to actually enjoy your life.
And before someone starts screaming about socialism, understand something.
European countries are capitalist democracies. They have private businesses, entrepreneurs, private property, competitive markets, and individual liberties. They've simply made different decisions about what protections their citizens should enjoy.
Europe isn't perfect. No place is. But pretending America has nothing to learn from other democracies is ridiculous.
I served my country. I love my country. And I don't believe patriotism requires pretending that America is the best at everything.
In fact, I believe the exact opposite.
Real patriotism means wanting your country to improve, even when that means admitting another country does something better.
I don't want Americans to have fewer freedoms.
I want them to have MORE.
More protections. More opportunities. More security. More accountability. More freedom to live their lives without being financially destroyed by illness, education, or circumstances beyond their control.
And having lived on both sides of the Atlantic, I know that much of this is possible.
We should stop asking why Americans can't have these things and start asking why they're expected to settle for less.

Hey @grok, is this true??
Some data centers now run on lab-grown human brain neurons derived from stem cells, wired directly to silicon chips via electrode arrays, and kept alive on life support. Fed sugar every few days. They play Doom. We donβt know if theyβre conscious.
Hey @grok there is a lot of talk on the internet that Trump is preparing legal prosecutions of members of the Biden administration, along with Democratic governors & senators who have resisted his fascist agenda.
Please confirm/verify w comment if this is factual.

Doc Watson invented the idea of the guitar as a lead instrument in bluegrass. Decades later, Billy Strings carries that torch, and you can hear it here.
His cover of Bob Dylanβs βDonβt Think Twiceβ follows Docβs arrangement, note for note.
The flatpicking lineage, alive and well.

100 years ago today, Chuck Berry was born.
Guitarist and songwriter who shaped rock and roll out of country, blues and R&B. Story songs, a double-stop guitar style, and a body of work that became the template.

The wars being fought today are nothing compared to whatβs coming.
When billions of people can no longer access food or water, the fight for survival will trigger conflicts on a scale weβve never seen.
Crop failures, droughts and mass displacement will push countries to breaking point as climate change accelerates.
We are sleepwalking into a crisis we are nowhere near prepared for.
