🇺🇸❤️ BIG NEWS & A LITTLE EXTRA HOPE! 🙏
We’re headed back to London for Braelyn’s next DCVax treatment, but this trip feels different!
This past week, I had the incredible opportunity to speak personally with @DrOz!
He’s been discussing Braelyn’s case with the FDA, and we’re exploring possible pathways to bring her ongoing DCVax treatments HOME to America!
Could Braelyn’s next treatment in MARCH actually happen right here in the USA?! 🇺🇸
Nothing is finalized, but some very important doors may be opening!
Please watch, share, and keep praying! ❤️🙏

🚨 TODAY, I submitted my public comment to the FDA regarding its proposed Rare Disease Framework.
As the mother of a 19-year-old fighting an aggressive, deadly brain cancer, I have one urgent message:
Patients don’t just need faster drug approvals. They need ACCESS to promising treatments while they’re still alive to benefit from them.
My comment shares Braelyn’s extraordinary journey, the clinical evidence and long-term survivors associated with DCVax-L, and the enormous barriers American families face trying to access investigational treatments.
I also outline Braelyn’s Bill, built around four fundamental patient rights:
❤️ The Right to Know
❤️ The Right to Preserve
❤️ The Right to Choose
❤️ The Right to Access
My most urgent request is Braelyn’s Rule: Patients facing life-threatening diseases should be able to access investigational treatments through their physicians, with informed consent and manufacturer participation, without unnecessary regulatory obstacles.
We should not have to fly across an ocean to access a promising cancer treatment developed right here in America.
The FDA’s new framework must measure success not just by how quickly treatments are evaluated, but by whether patients can actually access them while there’s still time.
I’m sharing my full four-page public comment because this fight is about far more than my daughter.
It’s about every family who deserves the opportunity to fight for their loved one’s life.
Please read and share. ❤️🙏

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the FDA’s Rare Disease Framework Initiative public meeting.
I had brain surgery for recurrent Glioblastoma (GBM) just a few weeks ago, but I flew to Maryland for this meeting because this new framework has the potential to change the future of GBM.
I’ve fought this disease for 4.5 years, using every tool available. But my best chance now, at recurrence, is a treatment that is currently only accessible in the UK, a personalized cancer vaccine called DCVaxL.
I made sure to freeze my tumor tissue specifically so I could have a chance at getting this vaccine. I should find out within the next week or two whether my tissue sample is adequate for vaccine manufacturing. More details to come.

🇺🇸❤️ WE MET PRESIDENT TRUMP TONIGHT! ❤️🇺🇸
What an extraordinary evening for our family!
Tonight, Braelyn, Ben, and I had the incredible opportunity to meet President Trump at the rally in Pendleton, South Carolina!
We had only about 20–30 seconds with him, and I knew I needed to make every second count.
I introduced him to Braelyn and thanked him for telling Dr. Oz about her brain cancer story.
I explained that Braelyn had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, the deadliest type of brain tumor, but that today she is CANCER-FREE after receiving DCVax-L, a personalized cancer vaccine developed right here in America!
Yet we must travel all the way to England for her ongoing treatments because we cannot access it here in the United States.
Then something pretty cool happened!
President Trump turned to one of his staffers and instructed them to get me in touch with Dr. Oz!
I also expressed my hope that we could connect with Secretary Kennedy.
As our brief time together came to an end, I made one final appeal:
“Please help bring this American-made treatment back home to America.”
President Trump was incredibly gracious to our family and very kind to Braelyn. We are so grateful for the opportunity to speak with him!
Earlier in the evening, I was also able to give a member of his staff a detailed packet about Braelyn’s journey, DCVax-L, and the obstacles American patients face in accessing promising investigational treatments.
Now we are praying that the connection with Dr. Oz comes through!
Three years ago, Braelyn was given just months to live. Today, she’s 19, attending college, and her latest MRI shows NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE RECURRENCE!
Tonight, we had the opportunity to bring her story directly to the President of the United States. ❤️
My prayer is that this opens the door to a much bigger conversation—one that could change the future for countless American cancer patients.
📸 We were not permitted to bring our phones into the private meeting with President Trump, so we couldn’t take our own pictures with him. His staff took an official photograph of us together, which we’re told will be emailed to us. I can’t wait to share it! In the meantime, here are some pictures from our unforgettable evening.
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make tonight possible and to all of you who continue to share Braelyn’s story. You helped us get this far, and we’re not stopping now! ❤️🙏

Three weeks later, I still have trouble believing I was able to write these words:
NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE. 🙏❤️
I’m sharing this again because Braelyn’s story is about so much more than one incredible MRI.
It’s about what can happen when someone refuses to accept that there are no more options.
Please read her story. And please share it. There are other families who need to know that “there’s nothing more we can do” does not always mean there is nothing more that can be done.

I have been waiting almost 3 years to write these words:
NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE. 🙏❤️
Today we met with Braelyn’s neurosurgeon, Dr. Linda Liau at UCLA (telehealth).
When our local radiologist read Braelyn’s August 28 MRI as “no evidence of disease recurrence,” we were thrilled—but I was afraid to fully exhale.
I knew Dr. Liau and the UCLA tumor board would scrutinize every millimeter of those images.
What if they saw something the local radiologist missed?
Today, Dr. Liau told us that she and the tumor board had thoroughly reviewed Braelyn’s MRI.
They were amazed.
There is NO VISIBLE TUMOR.
Even the ~10% Dr. Liau had to leave behind during surgery because of its intimate involvement with critical structures is no longer visible.
She emphasized how amazed and pleased the entire tumor board was by such a complete response at this point.
Her assessment: the prior radiation and the ongoing DCVax appear to be working very well.
Their recommendation after also reviewing the Keytruda regimen Braelyn recently started?
KEEP DOING WHAT SHE’S DOING.
😭🙏
First and foremost, we give ALL thanks and glory to God.
People all over the world have prayed for this girl. I cannot begin to express how humbled and grateful we are.
But tonight I also cannot stop thinking about how close Braelyn came to never having this opportunity.
Earlier this year, her tumor was enormous and growing rapidly.
We sought help from multiple surgeons—including at prestigious institutions.
We were told further surgery was too risky.
We were offered the same old options: chemotherapy and photon radiation that would affect most of her brain, given the size of her tumor.
Her tumor is MGMT-unmethylated, so for Braelyn, chemo was all risk with little to no benefit.
And then a stranger I met here on X changed everything. @ThomasOwenMcCa1 connected us with Dr. Liau.
After reviewing Braelyn’s case, one of the first things she said was:
“This girl needs surgery right away.”
I told her we knew that. We just couldn’t find anyone willing to do it.
I asked if SHE would.
“If you can get her to me, I will do her surgery.”
We got Braelyn to UCLA.
Within two weeks, Dr. Liau operated and removed ~90% of a massive tumor spanning three lobes, stopping where continuing would risk critical structures.
And this time, her tumor tissue was PROPERLY PRESERVED.
That tissue was ultimately sent to England and used to manufacture Braelyn’s personalized DCVax vaccine.
She has now received 3 induction doses + her first booster.
And today?
The tumor that Dr. Liau had to leave behind is no longer visible on MRI.
Think about that.
And then think about what could have happened if we had simply accepted “there’s nothing else we can do.”
THIS is why I will not stop advocating for reform.
Patients should not have to find potentially life-saving treatment options accidentally through strangers on social media.
Patients should be told about legitimate investigational options when standard treatment offers little hope.
Patients undergoing tumor surgery should be informed BEFORE surgery about preservation of tissue that could potentially be used for personalized treatments.
And patients should have the right to make informed decisions about which risks they are willing to take.
Promising science means very little if the patients who need it cannot access it.
Braelyn is living proof of why access matters.
Tonight, though, advocacy can wait for just a moment.
Tonight I’m her mom.
And I finally get to say the words I have begged God to someday let me say:
NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE.
Thank You, God.
Thank you, Dr. Liau.
Thank you to everyone who opened a door, donated, shared her story, fought for her and prayed for our girl.
There is always light, even in the darkest places.
Tonight that light is shining incredibly bright. ❤️🙏

⚖️ | Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. v. Canaccord Genuity LLC et al. | S.D.N.Y., No. 1:22-cv-10185 | Filed September 14, 2026 | Docs. 342–344
⚠️Not Legal Advice - A quick summary-
These filings respond to Citadel’s and Virtu’s requests to seal parts of sworn statements describing their automated trading systems (Docs. 333 and 336). They concern what the public can see, not a ruling on whether improper trading occurred. 📄🔍
🔒 Doc. 342: NWBO asks to file its opposition temporarily under seal so it does not reveal material while the judge considers the defendants’ requests. NWBO says it ultimately believes the material should be public.
⚖️ Doc. 343: NWBO opposes the sealing requests. It argues that Citadel and Virtu have not shown specifically how disclosure would harm them, and says some information they want hidden resembles information other defendants left public. NWBO asks Judge Stein to deny the motions. ➡️ One notable line from the filing: “over 100 members of the public attended the recent hearing regarding this subject.” 👥
📁 Doc. 344: The docket lists a sealed copy of NWBO’s opposition, tied to its temporary-seal request in Doc. 342. The public version is Doc. 343.
What might come next? Judge Stein may decide how much of the statements and this opposition remain sealed. A decision about public access would not, by itself, decide the trading allegations.
⚠️Not legal advice.
🧬❤️ The NWBO story reaches far beyond the courtroom. Braelyn’s family just heard the words they had waited nearly three years to hear: “NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE.” Behind every debate about trading and every docket entry are real patients, families, and scientists working to give people more time. That’s why this case matters so deeply. 🙏 @kshaughnessy2

If I'm not mistaken, Braelyn received her first dose of DCVax-L on July 22. Within about a month, after three doses, an intense anti-tumor immune response already wiped out the remaining unresected 10% of tumor tissue. The vaccine was made from her own tumor tissue, so it was a genetic match and that is why it cannot be toxic. More importantly, the DCs presenting hundreds of tumor-associated peptides on MHC Class II engage CD4 T-cells, which are essential for building immune memory. Once that memory is established, the risk of recurrence can drop dramatically. It's hard to imagine a better treatment than this — which may be exactly why approval has taken so long!

And I think Americans need to understand that distinction.
Because when it comes to giving patients with life threatening diseases access to promising treatments that aren’t yet approved we are not leading the world.
