It's weird that the U.S. cares more about terrorist financing in Canada than the RCMP or CSIS do. Strike that: I'm sure the RCMP and CSIS care. But Mark Carney and Gary Anandasangaree are more interested in ethnic voting blocs than public safety. home.treasury.gov/news/press…

🚨 BREAKING: THE EU TRIED TO FLEX, ELON MUSK JUST DROPPED A TOTAL DIGITAL BLACKOUT! 🚀🇪🇺💥 🇪🇺 EU Commission: "Elon Musk, pay our €5 Billion digital compliance fine by tonight and censor platform content, or we will ban Starlink ground stations across all 27 member states!" 🇪🇺😡⚡ 🚀 Elon Musk: "You monetized free speech regulation and called it governance. In space, satellite constellation laws don't bend to continental red tape. Try banning my ground stations—your regulators can survive without X, but your aviation can't survive dead satellite telemetry." 🚀💪🔥 🇪🇺 EU Commission: "We will freeze all SpaceX European assets and fine your tech entities into bankruptcy!" 🇪🇺⚠️🛑 🚀 Elon Musk: "Freeze whatever assets you like! The moment you sign the ban, SpaceX software revokes orbital integration codes for European defense satellites. Good luck launching a 5-ton payload into orbit on paper handbooks!" 🚀⚔️💀📉

This is a lie you lying liar. What chutzpa.
Canada has the lowest net debt-to-GDP ratio in the G7, giving us the capacity to invest with ambition. Budget 2026 puts that strength to work by expanding our energy infrastructure, helping businesses grow and making life more affordable. It also sets a path to end homelessness within 10 years, connecting housing with the care people need to stay housed. A stronger economy must give Canadians greater security in their daily lives.

For those who never got to experience @nenshi up close, the more pissy he gets, the more guilty he is. He starts by saying, he doesn’t remember the specifics of this report & he looked at millions of reports, then he gives specifics about the report when he says it was about cost ratios so apparently he does remember. This is all classic Nenshi, he did this every single time he was caught lying as Mayor.
Former Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi gets pissy when asked if he's responsible for the city's water main failures, a new report finds. "I have been completely exonerated."

Just a reminder that Health Canada does no testing of vaccines or any other drug. They rely on the good word of the pharmaceutical industry. Have a look at the government documents here: covidtestimony.com/exhibits-…
Health Canada does not test vaccines for safety or efficacy. It is important to understand that Health Canada does not do any testing of drugs, including vaccines, when determining whether to approve a drug for human use. All testing is done by the pharmaceutical company with a financial interest in having the drug approved by Health Canada. The Covid-19 vaccines were exempted from the regular drug approval test. Rather, a substitute approval test was used. Under this substituted test: 1. safety did not need to be proven; 2. efficacy did not need to be proven, and 3. that the benefits of the vaccine outweighed the risks of the vaccine did not need to be proven. If the test was met, Health Canada was legally obligated to authorize the vaccine for human use. The test Covid-19 vaccines were approved under is: The Minister must issue an authorization in respect of a COVID-19 drug if the following requirements are met: - the Minister has sufficient evidence to support the conclusion that the benefits associated with the drug outweigh the risks, having regard to the uncertainties relating to the benefits and risks and the necessity of addressing the urgent public health need related to COVID-19. The test only requires the pharmaceutical company seeking approval, to make an argument that the Minister does not need to agree with. The wording is not: - the Minister has sufficient evidence to conclude (which would require the Minister to be convinced), or - the Minister has concluded (which would require the Minister to be convinced). Rather the wording is: - the Minister has sufficient evidence to support the conclusion (not the Minister’s conclusion). This wording does not require the Minister (Health Canada) to conclude anything. Rather there only needs to be evidence to support a conclusion that the Minister is not making. Albertans, why are we accepting that Danielle Smith’s government continues to offer mRNA COVID-19 vaccines? On January 3, 2024, Florida’s Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, publicly called for a halt to their use, citing serious concerns about residual DNA, potential genetic risks and vaccine safety. That was nearly three years ago. Yet here in Alberta, these vaccines remain available. And this brings me to something that has been infuriating me for quite some time. Why are we so willing to overlook decisions we find unacceptable simply because the government making them happens to be the party we support? We can fiercely oppose something when one political party does it, yet become remarkably forgiving when it’s our preferred party making the same decision. Suddenly, we’re reminded of all the good things the government has done and how much worse the alternative would be, as though that somehow settles the matter. I’m sorry, but since when did being the better alternative become the standard we should be satisfied with? I don’t expect perfection from any government. I understand that compromise is sometimes necessary. But there’s an enormous difference between accepting that we can’t have everything we want and compromising the very principles we claim to stand for. Have we become so accustomed to settling for whatever we can get that we’ve forgotten we’re entitled to expect more? We can appreciate what a government gets right without making excuses for what we believe it gets terribly wrong. Our elected representatives work for us. We don’t owe them unconditional loyalty. If we’re only willing to hold the other side accountable, are we really standing on principle at all?
As I said in January 2024, no one should be taking mRNA COVID-19 vaccines because of their terrible safety profile. But for those who had to take one, Florida’s public health data strongly implies that thousands of Floridians died as a result of receiving Pfizer instead of Moderna. The number of lives lost in the U.S. and internationally is staggering, based on this analysis. The culture of approving vaccines without adequate safety testing and assuming “innocent until proven guilty” with these products absolutely, positively needs to end.

Nenshi knew. The guy is incompetent. He should just retire in the sunset. Why do I say that? Naheed Nenshi already qualifies for two taxpayer-funded pensions from his 11 years as Calgary mayor. One is the standard council plan. The other is a unique supplementary pension that was 100% funded by taxpayers (Calgary was the only major Canadian city offering its mayor this double perk). Estimates put the combined lifetime value well into the millions if he lives a normal lifespan. Now he’s drawing a full Opposition Leader salary on top of that. That’s double dipping. Most Albertans don’t get even one workplace pension. He gets two from the city and a provincial paycheque. His time as mayor showed the pattern. Property tax hikes that far outpaced inflation, defending golden perks while regular Calgarians faced job losses, and a habit of looking after the political class first. The water system problems that keep surfacing are just the latest reminder. He should resign. Let someone more competent who isn’t already locked into multiple taxpayer pensions take the job. Albertans have seen enough of a politician who treats public office as a personal retirement plan.

Canada’s become a predictable cesspool of organized and transnational crime, money laundering and terror funding. Politicians at every level have ignored this threat put on the map by @scoopercooper well over a decade ago. The Willfully Blind-blind sided by the obvious.
All Canadians should be concerned by the @USTreasury’s announcement that its Office of Foreign Assets Control has had to sanction eight Canadian businesses for enabling Iran’s Islamic regime. CIJA has long called on the Canadian government to ensure that Canada is not used as a safe haven for the IRGC, its operatives or other elements of the regime. This is about far more than illicit financial activity. It is about individuals and networks operating in Canada to support a despotic regime that murders tens of thousands of its own people, exports terrorism around the world, launches missiles and drones at its neighbours, and arms Russia with weapons used in its horrific war against Ukrainians. As the Canadian government advances its new National Security Strategy, with an emphasis on strategic autonomy, it must take decisive action against Iran, its proxies and their networks operating in Canada. Canada cannot be a safe haven for those who facilitate sanctions evasion, finance the Iranian regime or enable its global terror operations. home.treasury.gov/news/press…
