Nor could they speak to defend themselves if they didn’t want to be killed. Is that okay with you?
Hope it includes vulnerable stroke victims who can't initiate communication, no autonomy, can't speak to defend themselves if harm being done. Wd be living hell, torture, being abused & not able to stop it. Cruelty beyond belief.

I believe this “autistic flow” causes many behaviour issues in education. When students become so “zoned in” it can be very difficult to transition. Without proper training and understanding it can lead to severe outbursts. This paper falls short on pros, cons and solutions.

#NDIP if we are ready to join as one
Disability support systems were designed decades ago, and often fail to account for current living costs, modern assistive technologies, or the true expenses associated with living with a disability.

Thanks Cheryl. Those weird mistakes happen to me all the time, and it has nothing to do with voice to text. LOL
That shouldn’t have said dementia! voice to print is making weird kind of mistakes on my phone 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a wonderful conversation with Brenda, the author of A Twisted Fate. Looking forward to reading her book.

Haven’t had doctor since 2004 with 3 mass strokes and three severe dystonic brain injuries and Severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis because I am a malpractice victim and I’ve became also became housebound for 20 years, but I get abused in ever ER in Toronto to keep me out so more damage doesn’t get on my medical record

about the #CanadaDisabilityBenefit lifting them OUT of poverty by the Liberals from 2020 to 2024. They can't afford food TODAY.. nevermind sparing extra to put into an RDSP for 10, 20, 30+ years from now. They need YOU to FIGHT the LPC to raise the CDB to what they promised. 2/2

This aligns very well with the need for a publicly funded National Disability Insurance Plan for those with lifelong disabilities. everycanadiancounts.com.
It’s time to rebuild publicly funded health care for this generation and the next. It is time to end short-term thinking that continues to tear down universal, publicly funded health care. Let’s makeHealth Care For All a reality in Ontario. Read the full policy here: leefairclough.ca/policy/heal…

All while so many punch down on those on disability support, the homeless and immigrants as the problem. #NDIP
Now we are culled. Hate to say it.

I don’t think demand would raise the cost to operate. Not using surgery rooms at full capacity would decrease income.
While an estimated 30,000 people are waiting for surgery in the area, this major Ontario hospital required to cut 37 jobs in its surgery department. @TheSpec @HamHealthSci Paywall-But this is because of $150 million dollar deficit amidst rising costs for wages supplies & demand

Canada's next economic driver could be a National Disability Insurance Plan. Australia invests $50B a year in its NDIS, and every $1 returns $2.25 to the economy through jobs and local spending. Disability support isn't a cost. It's an investment. #NDIP #cdnpoli @PattyHajdu

Australia's federal-state-territory system mirrors ours. Yet Canada has never costed a national disability insurance plan. It's time to find out what we're leaving on the table. #NDIP @lesliechurch @karinagould @PierrePoilievre @avilewis @morricemike
