There is no comparison of @HamidMirPAK with anyone else. He has been Pakistan's leading journalist for many years and will remain so in the times to come. When I started journalism in Pakistan, like a true senior, he was extremely supportive and encouraging. I am honoured that I did vox pops for one of his shows from London when I was a reporter. Those trying to incite @ImranKhanPTI's followers against him should know that @ImranKhanPTI himself has always held Hamid Mir in the highest esteem. In fact, on one occasion when I was new to the Pakistani media, Imran Khan specifically told me to watch Hamid Mir's show as "his style and knowledge is the best". He called him "impartial" and "professional". Even before I started my career in Pakistan, I attended a lecture at the London School of Economics where Imran Khan was the speaker, and Khan especially mentioned Hamid Mir while talking about the Pakistani media and called him a "hero". I think that settles the case. It is because of his prestige that even @Jemima_Khan chose to appear on Capital Talk rather than any other show. Hamid sahab's stance on Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir is crystal clear and consistent. I don't think anyone should be lecturing Mir Sahab on journalism, he is a legend. For others: "People who throw stones at others, live in glass houses of hate."
