The GOP coalition in 2024 just didn't collapse. It got completely nuked. All because Trump and his people completely misread what their mandate was about. Nobody wanted any of the last two years. People wanted 2016-2020 (Just prior to Covid).

Trump and his political team have managed to do what the pre-Trump GOP never did — shrink the map of Republican states. Bush and Rove turned Texas red. Trump turned it blue. The pre-Trump GOP turned Georgia red. Trump turned it blue. But MAGA says we can't go back to winning.

Yes good point. People forget how common the “Trump is going to cancel the midterms!!!” take was in the left-wing fever ward
I think today is an important day to remember a lot of hyperbolic commentators swore the midterms were not going to happen.

A few years ago, Fetterman and Stevens would've been solidly in the majority of Democratic leaders in refusing to back antisemitic nutjob commies. That they're essentially looking right-wing to the left because of that position today, is a damning indictment of the party's insane shift.
Much like Fetterman, I'm not going to magically like Haley Stevens because she did something I think is good, but man oh man have the reactions to her belied the narrative that only one of the parties is a dangerous toxic mob that you never want to cross.

I worked in business aviation for over a decade. I remember the day Payne Stewart's aircraft went down - we all knew what had happened, and the outcome, well before the plane actually crashed (a military jet had gone up and reported that the widows were all frosted over, which meant pressure loss, and everyone inside was dead and probably frozen solid). Today's crash is similar. The images are clear - the high-mounted horizontal stabilizer is gone, which will turn the aircraft into, as one pilot put it, a lawn dart. That said, the amount of posts from people talking about things like restricted airspace, and how it couldn't be icing because it happened over south Florida, just show not only how many idiots there are, but how willing they are to make their idiocy known.
I really hate this app when bad things happen like plane crashes because all of a sudden the dumbest sons of bitches you’ve ever seen in your life hop on here like “There is no other explanation than this schizophrenic slop I’m about to say.”

The ultimate means of production that socialists want public ownership of is you.
The moral case for capitalism is that your life belongs to you. It doesn’t become a public resource for the collective just because a central planner declares it so.

The fact that she felt comfortable screaming 'I should have killed her' in public shows how emboldened these radicals have become.
🚨🚨 JUST NOW: Deranged Abdul Supporter tackled a Jewish girl (@basedinmalibu) at free speech event. She was SWIFTLY arrested, resisted and then said “I SHOULD HAVE KILLED HER!!” As she was loaded into the police vehicle.

Democrats are angrier at Haley Stevens for endorsing Mike Rogers than they were at Graham Platner for having raped his ex-girlfriend

Adam Kinzinger: “I’m all for country over party … but only when it means you’re endorsing a Democrat."
Just watched her on CNN. Seems her only case was that “el sayed doesn’t like me” Didn’t hear a case for Rogers. I’m all for country over party but it needs to be based on something

You really can see why communists end up killing people, even ones who think they’re on the same side…
Hasan Piker after Haley Stevens endorsed Mike Rogers: "There are plenty of others out there in the Democratic party coalition who...oppose us but at least they keep quiet with the full knowledge that we are...perhaps the most important part of this coalition."

Deliberate indifference to noncitizen voting is not only lawless, it allows for the effective nullification of votes lawfully cast by U.S. citizens
Not one Democrat state — not one — has either a.) checked the citizenship status of their voter file or b.) shared their voter records with DHS to check citizenship. The total number of illegal and non-citizen voters is astronomical.

Completely independent Journalist Jim Acosta is currently crashing out on Substack, calling what Stevens did "a hissy fit," and Trump might get two SCOTUS picks now. As I was saying, pay real close attention to the Country Over Party™ crowd on this.

I have zero doubt that every line of this post is true.
My wife's brother spent six years at a Japanese car plant in Kentucky. He was sent to teach the Americans our way of working. He came home with a notebook. On the cover, in Japanese: "Things I Learned Instead." Some pages: "The first day of deer season, half the line takes vacation. HR plans for it every year. Nobody pretends to be sick. They just say 'deer season.'" "They name the machines. The welding robot on Line 2 is Darlene. Darlene gets a birthday cake." "When someone's wife has a baby, the whole line signs a card. The card is bigger than the baby." "A man with thirty years on the line showed me a better way to do my own job. Then he said, 'Don't tell your boss I told you that, boss.'" "Every Friday, someone brings doughnuts. Nobody is assigned. Somebody always does." "They thank the janitor by name. Every day. His name is Curtis." The last page is from his final day. In our system, anyone can stop the line, but only for a problem. Stopping it is serious. "On my last day, the line stopped for one minute. There was no problem. They stopped it to shake my hand." He says it's the only time in six years he was happy to see the line stop.

If you are voting in Georgia, please vote for the Constitutional Amendment to make Probate Judge elections non-partisan. Fulton County keeps voting for an absolute moron for Probate Judge who has seriously screwed-up the probate process in the state's largest county for years, and this might help us stop the insanity.

Happy end of month to all those who celebrate!!!!!!!!!
Weil’s wind-down memo basically reads: “we will help you get a job and pay you a bonus, but don’t forget to make sure your time is in!” The firm may not survive the month but the billable hour will outlive us all 😅 abovethelaw.com/2026/10/weil…

Damage control. Dems are losing the Jewish vote. National Dems should have spoken against El Sayed in the primaries—they didn’t. Then Obama went to campaign for him. The optics are awful.
🚨 Pelosi rips Abdul El-Sayed, says his views on Israel are "more than concerning": “This new person in Michigan, we’ll see if he gets elected.”
