A year ago, I warned that the financial system was about to radically change. I told you to get ready for the boom. Not a market boom, but the sound of a controlled demolition. I wrote that the legacy financial system was being systematically rigged for detonation. The traditional processes and safety nets were failing, and the new architects in Washington were preparing to rewrite the social contract using a completely new system of accounting: tokenization and stablecoins.
Many in the mainstream financial press thought the idea of the US government forcing a digital redenomination of the economy was too complex, or simply too incredible, to be true. Yet, it is underway. I said new forms of money would appear, and they are: The US is pursuing a Bitcoin SWF and introducing stablecoins. Banks are still resisting, but crypto is getting access to the Fed’s payment system. Digital rails are being installed. Chairman Warsh represents a radical regime change at the Fed.
Erebor is now up and running, the new investment bank for a tokenized world, with a valuation of at least $8b and a deposit base of $4b. Tokenization is breaking the lock that Wall Street and private equity held over startups and widening the funding avenues for "workhorse" businesses.
The prediction that the EU would be forced to recognize stablecoins issued outside its jurisdiction, despite the ECB's desire to route retail savings into capital markets and push a CBDC, has proven to be a defining macroeconomic clash.
But as the digital panopticon of the on-chain ledger becomes our new reality, the need for human judgment, intuition, and conscious capital is greater than ever. We are moving at lightspeed into an atom-led economy, but technology alone cannot guide us. To survive the rest of this transition, we must also upgrade what I call our Heartware in addition to upgrading our hardware and software.
I am unlocking this piece from the archives today. Read it to see exactly how the blueprint was drawn, which structural pillars have already fallen, so we can understand what we must do to ensure this entrepreneur's revolution actually leads to human flourishing.

The dread I see from bitcoiners (and the football spiking from the haters) is very short-sighted to me given that since 2022 (right before the BlackRock ETF filing) Bitcoin is up 429%, gold 177%, Silver 350%, QQQ 140%. In other words bitcoin spanked everything so bad in '23 and '24 (which ppl seem to forget) that those other assets still haven't caught up even after having their greatest year ever and btc being in a coma. IMO what happened was the 'institutionalization' narrative got priced in very quickly and ahead of it all actually happening. So it had to take a breather so the actual narrative could catch up to the price. Feel better now? You're welcome.

I could list many things - Bitcoin has very critical value proposition to our current world's exact problems.
Here are 3 Utilities beyond Store of Value:
1) Be your own Bank - allows anyone / entity to be their own bank + move $$ without permission through time and space. EX: Russia, or Canada Truckers.
2) Decreases Energy costs -
-> Bitcoin Network allows us to scale the energy grid like never before (see PICS below)
-> Allowing power plants to cashflow from day 1 near energy resources that don't have civilization / town built out around it yet.
-> Once towns are built around these energy resources and draw consistent demand to pay the utility providers bills, then the Bitcoin miners can move to the next are to develop the next energy source.
-> On a long enough timescale we could see free energy wether thats 10, 20, or 100 years away. No one knows.
-> These facilities are being built out at historic rates because they're scaling energy like never before and changing what folks thought the future reality would look like (dystopian). The future is abundant. Bitcoin is becoming the backbone of energy and compute markets (see PICS below).
-> This point also ties into world peace. If we don't need to enter other countries for their energy sources anymore and can mine our own capital (Bitcoin) - then we can just trade with other countries instead of pillage.
3) Reducing Internet Theft -
-> $2T is stolen every year from online hackers. A more secure Financial Internet / way of passing way between entities will emergy as the king.
-> If we returned that $2T to each countries respective GDPs then we'd immediately jump a few points.
-> @JasonPLowery talks about reducing Internet Theft and more importantly - securing Nation Security through expanding the Bitcoin Network has fast as possible within the borders of the USA (everyone should read Jason's book SoftWar... we may be SEEING his thesis get adopted in real time). Could be time to make our energy production go exponential alongside the need for it with AI.
-> Simplistically - instead of Defending Internet Infrastructure with CODE -> the Thesis of SoftWar is that we'll be Defending our Internet Infra with ENERGY in the future... increasing difficulty tremendously because hackers will need to spend large amounts of energy if they want to attack... deterring most attackers and demonetizing the ambitious hackers overtime.
-> To your point - most stuff build on-top of Bitcoin will use an L2 to scale.
I could talk about this stuff all day!
So I'll stop there haha 🤣🙏

1851 lesson:
When housing is tied to production, not speculation -
rents. stop. rising.
Align incentives → abundance compounds.
A story of asset-backed abundance - from 1851:
Founded by wool & textiles industrialist Sir Titus Salt, Saltaire - was built as a complete town:
worker housing, schools, hospitals, libraries, parks, public baths, churches.
Housing was not speculative.
Rent was deliberately capped to remain affordable.
Workers lived dramatically better than peers in industrial Britain.
Why?
Housing was tied to productive output.
Profits were reinvested locally.
Rent extraction was forbidden by design.
On the surface, this looks like “nationalization.”
In reality, it was industrial commons ownership.
Over time, the story collapsed into:
“A town nationalized its industry and nobody paid rent.”
The mechanism is real - the label got simplified.
What Saltaire did for textiles,
We’re building for the alternative economy:
decentralized food, energy, communication & healthier systems.
We’re re-activating a proven civilizational pattern:
When incentives are aligned, abundance unlocks - and quality of life compounds over time.

AI makes intelligence abundant.
Abundance reallocates scarcity -
from creation → verification.
Cheap intelligence corrupts signals.
Verification becomes the scarce resource.
AI makes thinking cheap.
Bitcoin makes truth expensive.
That’s the balance.
In a world where intelligence is abundant,
verification is scarce -
and Bitcoin is the verification layer.
→ AI collapses intelligence costs
→ Bitcoin reintroduces real-world cost
That’s not ideology.
That’s system design 👇

This piece is well positioned and nicely refined. I love how the ideas connect and how the thought process unfolds in a way that’s easy to follow and accessible to a broad audience.
What I especially appreciate is the focus on cognition and cognitive output… how AI collapses the cost of intelligence itself. That lens is powerful. When I was thinking about this topic, I was coming at it more from the production side: AI as a force reshaping not just cognitive labor, but physical output, coordination, and real-world productivity. Both perspectives ultimately point to the same underlying reality.
There are many ways to take this idea, and many layers to explore, but the core concept and driving principles remain the same. It’s not a coincidence that these two systems are arriving at scale at the same moment in history. They are deeply interdependent… almost codependent. Humanity and society are being shaped by two completely unique yet complementary forces hitting at the same time: one that makes intelligence abundant, and one that anchors value to reality.
This piece does an excellent job of conveying why that interaction matters, and why the measuring stick becomes more important as intelligence gets cheaper.
Highly recommend reading it.
~ When Intelligence Gets Cheap, the Measuring Stick Matters ~
We’re moving into a world where intelligence is less and less scarce.
Not wisdom. Not judgment.
But raw cognitive output: text, code, images, strategies, “analysis.”
The marginal cost of producing convincing work is falling fast. When creation becomes easy, the problem stops being production.
The problem becomes verification.
ABUNDANCE REALLOCATES SCARCITY
AI doesn’t make reality abundant. It makes certain outputs abundant, especially the ones that live on screens.
But the physical world still has constraints: energy, hardware, land, logistics, time.
Scarcity doesn’t disappear. It just moves toward what cannot be conjured by software.
CHEAP INTELLIGENCE = FAKE SIGNALS
Markets run on signals: prices, profits, reputation, consensus.
When cognition is cheap, signals get cheap too. It becomes trivial to mass-produce "truth-shaped objects": research, narratives, engagement, credibility.
Value doesn’t vanish. But it becomes harder to tell what’s real.
The premium shifts away from “more information” and toward “verifiable certainty.”
MONEY IS THE REALITY CHECK
Money is how we keep score. If the measuring stick is stable, the scoreboard works. If it’s constantly being stretched, the scoreboard lies.
AI adds a new distortion: even with perfect monetary policy, cheap cognition makes it easier to manipulate perception at scale.
The world starts demanding two things at once:
1. A unit that’s hard to dilute.
2. Verification that’s hard to fake.
BITCOIN IS COSTLY TRUTH
Bitcoin isn’t valuable just because it’s digital.
It’s valuable because its scarcity is enforced by rules that are expensive to cheat. It converts energy and time into something anyone can verify without trusting a referee.
In a world where lying gets automated, systems where the cost of lying stays high matter more.
WHAT HAPPENS TO OTHER ASSETS?
Bonds: The clearest mismatch. Fixed nominal claims struggle in a debasement regime.
Equities: Some keep pace, but many fail the "AI abundance test." If intelligence becomes cheap, moats get thinner and profit pools migrate. Stocks can rise in dollars while delivering less real value.
Real Estate: Slides toward utility economics. Useful, but not automatically a great investment if rents and scarcity premia compress.
TL;DR
AI makes outputs cheaper. When outputs get cheap, verification becomes valuable. Money is the ultimate verification layer.
Bitcoin matters because it ties digital value to real-world cost.
It hedges two pressures at once: The debasement of the unit, and the dilution of reality by cheap synthetic signals.

Freedom Capital DA retweeted
The significance of this idea is reality-altering.
Jason’s post is fascinating because it exposes something most people still miss: Bitcoin functions as the proofing mechanism for how AI can be bounded, not suppressed… and in doing so, it enables an age of abundance without erasing human relevance. It introduces a universal value signal rooted in physical cost, ensuring that intelligence alone is never sufficient to dominate systems detached from reality.
This is why it is critical that Bitcoin becomes the dominant signal of value before AI is fully unleashed at scale. Once AI reaches its full productivity potential, any system lacking a physically anchored value constraint risks being overwhelmed by synthetic output, false optimization, and runaway abstraction.
Bitcoin solves this by making physically anchored intangibility its superpower. It transforms computation, energy, and time into an incorruptible price signal that both humans and machines can recognize and cannot fake. That shared acceptance of value (not just price) is the necessary predecessor to safely deploying AI at civilizational scale.
This is not coincidence.
AI and Bitcoin are entering society together as complementary systems: one collapses the cost of intelligence, the other enforces the cost of reality. Their interaction is what allows abundance to emerge without collapsing meaning, agency, or trust.
This is where Post-Scarcity Monetary Theory (“PSMT”) becomes essential.
PSMT recognizes that as AI, automation, and energy abundance drive the marginal cost of production toward zero, scarcity does not disappear… it migrates. When goods, labor, and intelligence become abundant, the only scarce resource left is truth: verification, finality, and coordination under adversarial conditions. PSMT reframes money not as a claim on future production, but as a record of verified reality.
In that framework, Bitcoin is not a hedge against the future… it is the monetary substrate that makes a post-scarcity world coherent.
Absent Bitcoin, AI overwhelms value systems by making intelligence, signaling, and simulation free; with Bitcoin, AI is forced to express its impact through irreversible physical cost, re-anchoring value to reality.
