⁦@FriendsofWPSch⁩ parent and clean air 4 schools member Vicky is front page of ⁦@hackneygazette⁩ talking about her mission to tackle toxic air ⁦@AirTeamUK⁩ hackneygazette.co.uk/news/en…
Perhaps enforcement team could go down there this week every day and ask parents not to park there? Otherwise it’s just doing more harm than good

Please ask your team to re-visit st Mary’s school street on church st ASAP. Instead of parking on the little side street, parents are now parking on church st which is a narrow main road, which causes congestion and pollution as cars, buses and hgvs are idling waiting to pass.

There's a new page on William Patten school website with some of the air quality projects we've been working on over the past couple of years. Green screen, clean air walking maps, monitoring and a soundscape project to name a few #cleanairforchildren williampatten.hackney.sch.uk…

While @XRLondon raised awareness of our #AirPollution crisis in Leicester Square - we showed our support with another street sign takeover in Euston. Toxic air is polluting our lungs!

No we are saying the same thing, but in different ways. Nicola saying he said the LEN could be v. controversial. And im recalling he said (therefore) the plans the council propose are likely to be uncontroversial ones, so more likely to get through.

That’s right Nicola. He was very frank. And officers present at car free day event said the same - most likely to be something uncontroversial like banning trucks

William Patten 🤔 that's the primary school with the bus stop right next to the playground! 500 TfL buses a day brake, idle & accelerate just a few feet away from where hundreds of young children play and the master plan is to send more traffic along this road? 😳 @FriendsofWPSch

96% of the children at William Pattern primary school already walk, scoot or cycle. I've visited and seen the problem first hand and this is not going to be a Mini Holland, it's going to increase #airpollution exposure for 3,500 kids whose nurseries/schools are on the main roads.
