Thank you to @WMerciaPolice for allowing me to share an update on my life with the community who were affected by my mothers murder. The video itself was filmed last year however I am still enjoying the life I’ve built facebook.com/share/v/17YmjJy…
Alongside sharing my story with many officers, I was also interviewed on the subject for @BBCSpotlight and @itvwestcountry
A massive thank you to @benwoolvin and @norbury_hannah for being so caring and considerate during our time together.
On Tuesday I had the privilege of sharing my story to @DC_Police. It was an incredible day listening to those with lived experience of VAWG.
Meeting so many officers willing to learn and listen to our stories was amazing and I know they all took something valuable away with them

Domestic abusers convicted of controlling or coercive behaviour face tougher management.
From today, the Probation Service, and other agencies like the police, will work together to manage the risks posed by these offenders, keeping people safer.

Today marks 7 years since my mum was murdered. She raised me to be a strong formidable woman and I am forever grateful for all that she taught me. I will never stop sharing our story and fighting on behalf of the voiceless.
Thank you to everyone to who has supported me this far!
Today I am finally 21! This year has been the hardest of my grief journey, however I still sit here today and say that life after the horrors of domestic abuse can be beautiful and fulfilling. It may feel like there is nothing but you can and will rebuild!

Risk escalation tracking is so important. Gavin Plumb is a case in point, so will Kyle Clifford be, as was Wayne Couzens. We shouldn’t be retrospectively tracking escalation, we should proactively apply these techniques. Prevention is better than murder.

June 21st - Freedom Day!
5 years since the monster who murdered my mum was found guilty and sentenced to 31 years minimum! I was shocked. It has ensured I don’t have to worry about him outliving it and walking the streets ever again. Mr justice Wall is a hero to our family.
Yes Rhianon 🙌🙌

To those of you who have listened to my episode of ‘Life Changing’ on @BBCSounds I can confirm I am still thoroughly enjoying my sunsets. This one was at Haytor in Devon
When you work on something for so long only to have someone not involved given credit is destroying. We relive so much trauma for this work because we know how important it is. @BraggRhianon @rachel and everyone else, you are amazing!
Wow. Some could have interpreted it as though Welsh Women’s aid had been part of this great piece of work. The reality is that it has been carried out in the main by you, @BraggRhianon & @ShonaPriddey. Apols if I’ve missed anyone off.

Look out for this on Tuesday 9th April.

This everybody is the kind of thing myself and so many others receive on our pages! I was commemorating my beautiful mum, this person has decided say my mum should have stayed with my dad or stayed single post split, essentially victim blaming her for my step-dads actions.
