7 years ago @IAPAC hosted the first global @FastTrackCities conference in London. Our aim was to convene the network but also to highlight the city’s HIV response. Next month the sixth convening of what is now a 600-city network will take place in Berlin. Time flies!

As the HIV community heads to Rio for @AIDS_conference, let’s embrace the fact the future of the response is ours to re-build. Trump 2.0 aftershocks cannot be allowed to define our future.

My latest @IAPAC blog post is about what #AIDS2026 must represent for the global #HIV response. The urgency of now has never been more present for our community to defend what we have and work on building back better. iapac.org/2026/07/28/aids-20…

When I visited with city and country delegations the siloes became so glaringly apparent. How do you plan a city without planning for healthy people and neighborhoods? Guess that is why I was invited to speak at #WUF13. report.az/2869983

Health is the foundation of human dignity, economic stability, and global security.
On #WorldHealthDay, we must move beyond rhetoric to redesign systems that deliver equity, accountability, and whole-person care everywhere and for everyone.

South Africa’s approval of twice-yearly #lenacapavir for #HIV #PrEP could be a game changer. @GileadSciences can help bend the curve of new infections by pricing it within public-sector means. bhekisisa.org/health-news-so…

In my latest @JIAPAC_AIDS paper, my co-authors and I report the outcomes of a US #UequalsU survey.
🚨 More than half (54.5%) of PLHIV did not understand what U=U means. Around 12% were unaware if their viral load status was undetectable.

From my @FT_HealthX blog post: “Health systems should be judged not by the speed of discovery or innovation or the number of clinics and hospitals built, but by how well they serve those most often left behind in a world mired in inequity.”
