To @ICMAICMA, Respected Council & Exam Committee, As results for the June 2025 term are set to be declared on 11 August, this is once again a humble yet strong appeal from the student community to seriously consider introducing a gap between papers in the upcoming Dec 2025 exam schedule. 🧵Over the last 2 years, I have consistently raised this concern with data, polls, and student feedback: 🔹 19 Aug 2023 – Asked students: Should there be a gap between CMA exams? Overwhelming majority voted YES. 🔹 28 Aug 2023 – Urged RCM/CCM to consider the poll insights. Highlighted issues of mental stress, illness, and anxiety caused by 8 back-to-back exams. 🔹 5 Sept 2023 – Reached out to @harshad_de quoting his past support for students when he wasn’t a CCM. I requested him to now act on this concern, as he had committed. 🔹 6 Sept 2023 – Got a response: “Let’s take up this topic for June 2024 attempt as Dec schedule is already out.” Acknowledged concerns but cited logistical issues. 🔹 17 Jan 2024 – June 2024 schedule was released. Again, no gap. Raised concern that student voices were being repeatedly ignored. 🔹 20 June 2024 – After exams ended, once more requested a gap in Dec 2024 attempt. Emphasized the toll on mental and physical health of students. 🔹 12 Feb 2025 – Highlighted how lack of revision and rest during exam week due to continuous papers is a major reason for failure, not a lack of preparation. 🧠 Mental health is not a luxury. 🫀 Physical health is not optional. How can students be expected to retain 8 subjects across 8 days with no rest? How is it fair to expect students to perform at their best with no sleep, rising stress, and growing fear? 📌 Now in Aug 2025, before the Dec 2025 datesheet is released post-results, we once again request: ✅ At least a 1-day gap between alternate papers. ✅ Respecting students’ mental well-being and not just exam logistics. ✅ Avoiding physical and emotional burnout caused by back-to-back exams. ✅ Acknowledge that students are not machines — we’re humans with limits This is not a complaint—it’s a plea for academic fairness and mental health consideration. This isn’t about asking for favors — it’s about ensuring equal opportunity to perform. It’s about respecting the struggle, sleepless nights, and sacrifice that every CMA student puts into this journey. 👨‍🎓 Students are the backbone of the CMA profession. Please don’t let our requests go unheard again. We study hard. We sacrifice a lot.
