$INTC I know we are all very hurt and emotionally involved in the company. But let’s take a step back. My personal take after digging deeper into the details:
@intel at $65 is honestly criminal. This feels like a massive overreaction, and I believe Intel could rebound at least 15% over the next three months.
But!
@LipBuTan1 needs to rebuild the investment thesis and give investors a compelling reason to believe in Intel again. I expect the next earnings report to bring a clearer picture, potentially with revised numbers and much stronger guidance for Q1 2027.
My take: Don’t rush to sell Intel. I’d wait at least until the next earnings report to see how management addresses the concerns and what the outlook looks like before making a decision.

$INTC Intel 2027 external packaging revenue is not accounted for by analysts forecast. Packaging is high margin business that saw multiple price increases as the bottleneck deepened.
Experts believe Intel could generate $3B–$5B in annual packaging revenue as external customer programs scale in 2027.
For context, estimates put TSMC’s packaging-related revenue in the $11B–$18B range in 2026.
AI chip demand is surging, and advanced packaging remains a critical bottleneck. Intel could capitalize without requiring customers to move wafer fabrication away from TSMC or Samsung.
Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan said on the latest earnings call:
“Both continue to see significant external customer traction as well.”
He was referring to Intel’s EMIB and EMIB-T advanced packaging technologies. Tan also said Intel is adding capacity in New Mexico and Malaysia to support customer ramps in 2027.
Even a handful of major AI packaging wins could unlock billions in annual revenue for Intel.

There is more than $750 billion in compute backlog waiting to be monetized. Do you really think these companies don’t want to turn that demand into revenue?
The demand is there. Customers are waiting for compute capacity. Every day that capacity cannot be delivered is revenue that cannot yet be captured.
This is the opportunity the market seems to be missing: the bottleneck is not necessarily demand — it is the ability to supply enough compute to meet it.
And if America makes it too difficult or expensive to bring that capacity online, companies will build elsewhere. It’s a big world 🌍. Capital and future projects can move to countries with cheaper power, faster permitting, and better economics.
The irony is that the Trump administration wants AI infrastructure built in America to create jobs, drive economic growth, and secure US technological leadership.
But you cannot expect to capture the economic benefits of the AI boom while making it harder to deliver the compute customers are demanding.
Every project that moves overseas means potentially lost jobs, supplier revenue, tax receipts, and strategic advantage.
America, stop shooting yourselves in the foot. 🇺🇸
Build the capacity. Deliver the compute. Monetize the demand.

$INTC 8 years ago:
• $55/share
• Primarily an x86 CPU & PC business with no external foundry business or outside backing & no meaningful AI growth engine
$INTC today:
• $55/share
• A centerpiece of America's push for domestic advanced chipmaking backed by U.S. government & $NVDA with Data Center & AI revenue just posting its strongest growth in 15 years
Same price. Very different business.
Intel GPU D-Series: A New AI Inference Opportunity for $INTC that could bring billions of revenue as early as next year for Intel that is not accounted for by analyst forecast.
Google is already estimated by analyst to bring $40 billion in revenue in 2027 through its AI TPUs sales to external customers.
The broader AI inference market is projected to reach $421.8 billion by 2033. Could this be Intel's opportunity to capture a meaningful share of one of AI's fastest growing markets?
Every ChatGPT response, AI generated image, coding assistant and AI agent requires inference computing. As adoption grows, the opportunity is to deliver more tokens at a lower cost.
Intel designed this GPU specifically for memory intensive inference workloads, prioritizing memory capacity, bandwidth and power efficiency.
Key specifications:
• Up to 480GB LPDDR5X memory
• 1.5 TB/s memory bandwidth
• 1.3 PFLOPS FP8 compute
• 350W power envelope with air cooling
It is designed to support models up to 300 billion parameters on a single card.
On Intel's Q3 earnings call, Lip-Bu Tan said:
"Early feedback is encouraging. Performance is tracking well." He added that customer engagements are progressing towards firm commitments.

the great semicon reset this week
has opened up juicy opportunities we didn't have just a few months ago. let me articulate some thoughts.
intel's stock has been cut hard, down 46% over the past 3 months.
the bull case for $INTC is that better manufacturing economics can turn Intel's product growth into much higher earnings.
- lip-bu tan says a couple of outside foundry customers could be ready to announce within two quarters.
- 18A (intel's newest chip process) costs are down 40% since Q1
- 18A chips went from <5% to nearly 1/3 of client CPU revenue
- wildcat lake, the cheap 18A laptop chip, grew units 70% q/q and is sold out
- data center revenue is on track to end 2026 ~$10B above what intel expected going in
CFO's rule of thumb: 40 to 60% of any new revenue falls through to gross profit
cheaper wafers plus more revenue on the new node is operating leverage. 2027 is when it should show. the CFO already calls next year a growth year.

$INTC White House NEC Director Kevin Hassett said today that President Trump is “excited about the deal made with Intel” and that it is “encouraging to see Intel show a sustained strong improvement.”
The comments come roughly a week after Intel’s weak guidance and sharp sell-off.
They signal that the administration continues to view its 2025 ~9.9% equity stake positively and still backs the company’s longer-term turnaround despite near-term PC and supply pressures.

Comical that so many people believe the AI race will suddenly pause and Google will just go back to ads and Meta will go full tilt on Reality labs etc.
Most of 27 Capex build is underway and nothing is stopping that. 28 comes with some risk but there will be time to negotiate or relocate projects to friendlier locations.
We will update our Capex forecast shortly but expect to see little revision downward. AI is the biggest economic driver on the planet. It may move locations, but it won’t be stopped. 👀

Democrats might be able to ban American superintelligence, but they can't ban China's.
Do you really think an ASI trained on walled-off data will have your best interests at heart? Think again. The next generation of Americans better get ready to learn Chinese.
If the democrats successfully pass a ban on Superintelligence, this will have negative ramifications that will ripple out for the next 100 years:
1) The final stock market top is in, possibly for several decades to come
2) China will win the AI race, and Chinese cultural influence will spread like wildfire
3) China will become the sole super power of the world
4) The US will be guaranteed to have a financial apocalypse in the coming years that will be the biggest in the country's history. Massive exponential AI growth was the only way to avoid it, and that is the last straw.
5) The DSA will probably win in 2028, and the US will sink into full socialism, and eventually Communism. Civil war possible, break up of the nation possible.
The SuperIntelligence ban is the dumbest proposal ever proposed by anyone. It's completely destructive on every level, and is fueled by social media and news media fear mongering.

The AI selloff is stupid.
Everyone is panicking because some state governors flipped blue. And those future governors talked tough on data centers. If data center development slows, the semis and memory companies make less money. So naturally, everyone panic sold.
But think about this logically. Do you really think these governors want to reduce jobs, taxes coming in, and investment in their communities? No. The tough talk was to get elected. In reality, they just want data centers to be fair… don’t increase electricity costs, don’t pollute the water, and don’t treat employees like shit. Any good Neocloud is already doing this and will comply with the asks. Any Neocloud or data center company with connected power already has very little risk as well through 2027.
Are democrats going to wipe out AI? Well…
- $NVDA increased 1000% under BIDEN
- The majority of data centers in America are in BLUE STATES
- if they slow AI development, then China will win the race and America will never recover. They have 401ks and their constituents do too, they don’t want to wipe everyone out.
Federally, little will change over the next two years unless 2/3 of the senate passes a bill. Anything less than that requires Trump to sign off and he will veto everything. The actual risk here is a prolonged government shutdown.
But as for AI companies, they are still crushing it and the fundamentals have not changed. Sure, there may be a little more regulation at the state level but the good DC companies like $NBIS $CIFR $APLD $IREN $CRWV $HUT $GLXY $WULF are already complying or will comply. Semis and memory won’t slow down for years.
This will be a blip on the radar and we will look back at November 5th, 2026 as one of the best times to buy cheap stocks during our version of the Industrial Revolution.
Sure, there will be volatility ahead. But I believe the future is bright and the market will come around. It literally only takes one headline for the entire sentiment and market trajectory to change course now.

TRUMP ON AI: WILL WORK WITH MANY STATES IN U.S. THAT WANT TO BECOME RICH BY HAVING THEM
$INTC is trading at a ridiculously cheap valuation, in my opinion.
I expect things to get significantly more on track from H2 onwards. Granted, this isn’t the $100B–$120B bull-case scenario I previously modelled. However, I believe this forecast is highly realistic, particularly when factoring in the headwinds Intel signalled during its latest earnings call.
It also doesn’t assume anything close to the 70% YoY growth AMD is projecting for next year. This is a more measured outlook, with room for upside if execution improves.
Intel likely won’t be free-cash-flow positive for another year, largely because of the substantial investments required to scale its foundry business and attract external customers. But that’s investment in future growth, not simply spending for the sake of spending.
The market seems to be heavily discounting Intel’s long-term potential because of its near-term cash flow requirements. I don’t think that’s justified.
Google is also investing aggressively for future growth, yet the market recognises the value of those investments. Intel deserves to be evaluated with a similar long-term perspective.
My view is that Intel doesn’t deserve to trade below $100 per share. I expect free cash flow to turn positive from 2028 onwards, as foundry investments increasingly translate into external customer revenue, scale and profitability.
The real opportunity is in what Intel is building for 2028 and beyond, not just the next quarter.
Couple of the main topics I'll cover in my substack article is
1) Intel's capacity becomes fungible mid next year. Why this occurs
2) What is Intel's capacity by end of 2027
We know capacity additions and comments from Naga point us to this. Intel would have pulled CAPEX if PC changed this fact.
Intel 3 ramp is titled more toward 1H 27, with 18A 2H 27.
18A more than doubles from 30K WSPM to 60K WSPM. At 27K per wafer that's $19.4B in revenue per year for Foundry.
Intel 3 in Ireland maxes out at 65K WSPM, Oregon switch to Intel 3 is probably 15K WSPM. Total Intel 3 is 80K WSPM. At 19k per wafer that's $18.2B per wafer.
Intel 7 in Israel is ~50K WSPM and 15k in Arizona at 7k per wafer that's $5.4B.
Intel Foundry exits 2027 doing ~$40B just on wafers not including packaging. Almost of all of those wafers are internal. So just doing a dumb 2.1x multiple of wafers means total revenue exiting 2027 is $90B.
So yes Intel is selling for 3x revenue. With Foundry turning profitable in 2028, and external customer ramp in 28.
This market is absolutely stupid. PC drag is $2B ish per quarter vs expectations that becomes irrelevant mid 27. We fell 50% for that.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
