Any help with this @SFBART? Police officers are regularly parking in & blocking Oakland's protected intersections around the Lake Merritt station that have been instrumental in improving bike/walk safety stats in the area. seeclickfix.com/issues/11417…

Berkeley has declared a climate emergency and committed to eliminating severe and fatal traffic injuries. We shouldn’t even be considering an option that prioritizes car storage over bicycle and pedestrian safety. Option 1 FTW.

The recently announced Bay Wheels e-bike cost increases in SF mean what was already a ridiculous $6 for a 30 min trip for single ride users is now an astronomical $9 (+$2 to park outside a station). That means up to $22 round trip. On a bike. sfmta.com/blog/bikeshare-sta…

So exciting! We’ve been looking forward to this for years!
Good news, Berkeley’s 9th St pathway crossing of Ashby is finally open, completing the connection between Emeryville & Berkeley. Drivers are still getting used to the changes & some tweaks to the signals may be needed, so please use caution for the time being.

Earlier this month Oakland City Council approved the Telegraph protected bikeway upgrade in KONO, and today they awarded funding to the contractor, meaning a green light to start construction. The paint-only bikeway alternative could have delayed this process by a year or more.

On this World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Victims, we remember the 187 San Franciscans who have died on our city's streets since 2014, and rededicate ourselves to the day when these tragedies no longer occur. #VisionZero – at San Francisco, CA
