I donβt believe in penalizing students for failing to turn in homework. Same for lateness, attendance, dress code, and even some behaviors such as sleeping in class. We donβt always know the whole story. Hold children accountable for what they can control.

In a world where hybrid/flexi working is becoming common, teachers still have to fight to leave school during free periods or are made to feel guilty for asking for even a few hours off for any reason whatsoever. Huge culture/mindset shift still needed.

Teachers don't leave because it's hard. Teachers are some of the hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the amount of work no longer is comparable to pay, respect, and value that they deserve for the workload.
