The new 𝕏 payout system has a hidden penalty nobody talks about.
If your audience is loyal they go to your profile, they read your posts in chronological order, they don't argue in replies you earn nothing.
The system doesn't reward community.
It rewards going viral to strangers. The best audiences are the quietest ones.
And the algorithm punishes quiet.

I've either invested in ebay inventory I can make money on quickly or taken care of other business with everything that's come my way.

Yes ma'am it sure was! I was able to get everything I need, and @tesla_knight even helped me get my verification here on X so I don't have to worry about post limits and hopefully more people will see my posts! I've already gained over 100 followers in less than 12 hours! It's so really cool! Plus now I don't have to be worried about the limit on how much I can type into a single message!
I'm late to X today 🤷♀️ Been getting so much done with the support from the #payitforward community !! I was starving & about to lose my storage unit just a few days ago & folks just jumped in & literally saved everything. 😭 🙏
I'm not out of the woods fully, but I can surely see the way out now thanks to you guys.
Still technically homeless & without wheels but I'm blessed to have a safe place to sleep & a few places I am able to sit & work through the day.
You guys got me in my storage, fed me & I even hit the thrift store & got a few things to list on ebay which is how I've been making a living since closing my retail businesses a few years ago. Everything got stuck in storage when I left my rental.
Next challenge is not huge but I'm now saving what I can make to get my storage moved from the other coast over here because that's where my real inventory is. I'll keep you all posted!! Main thing now is making sure I eat every day. Im making a little cash helping others set up ebay accounts of their own. It helps. Its hard on foot but im getting it done.
A couple weeks ago though, I was certain my whole storage unit, my life, my memories, anything that wasn't already lost, would all be sold at auction. I already lost half of my stuff that way last month & never even told anyone. I just let it go.
When I finally was starving I decided to say something. And the whole community stepped in putting me back in a place where I could save myself. No judgment just encouragement. ❤️
I cant even express the gratitude 🙏 and relief. Theres so many great folks here & they all seem to lead back to, or connect with @Divine_Sass the TIP FAIRY of @X pulling together genuine people that are here for one purpose. Uplifting others.

Somebody requested Xmoney from me too. I felt bad because I didn't have any left after turning on my phone, paying my storage etc, but also didn't know if it was a scam.
I forgot you could request money & I'd like to turn that feature off for myself. I wont use it to ask for assistance.
I like to give where I see it needs to go when I do & I think most people are like that. 🤷♀️ Not excited or interested in a private "send me money" with no explanation from someone I dont know. I like authenticity on the timeline. I wanna know what's up when I help. And I'll be there again soon, on the giving side.
I'm just figuring out how to make a little bit each day out here on foot & options are just limited. My storage unit isn't locked up now thanks to this community #payitforward , but it IS 3 hours away & I can't walk there. I don't have enough to pay someone to take me there yet either. Im trying!!!!

Getting my new personal ebay account going & they're holding funds & its stupid. I hate that @eBay you really dont make it easy 😒 you hold money WAY TOO LONG like it really is unreasonable.
I want to show you guys here on X how to build an ebay account, because it is good backup income but, you have to know there's things they do that make it VERY difficult too.
I can help there after all these years, but starting up a new account or selling after years of barely using an old account, is a pain if you needed the money for something.
Shipping can screw you if you aren't careful & they can randomly start holding your funds on which they collect interest, for an undisclosed or undetermined amount of time. Just because they want to.
Meanwhile, you have to keep shipping like youre getting paid 🤣 😕 and somehow replenish your inventory too
It will be worth it once they decide they've harmed me enough or held my life up enough, 😆 & the account starts behaving "normally" releasing my money the next day when I ship 😆 ffs ebay
I do have ebay tips on packing I'll share too.
I can contribute to community that way until actual money frees up on my end. Meanwhile I am offering items for sale here for Xmoney so I can get the rest of the job done. Without asking for donations to make things happen.
