Islam the Greatest Coloniser for a thousand years and counting ....
Had a work accident at home yesterday and cracked my scone on a doorframe. Texted this photo to a friend to share a laugh.
I got a ridiculous ‘warning’ from my iphone about ‘sensitive content’ & seeking ‘help’. 🙄
Modern life is now ridiculous.
GTF out of my life @Apple
Sad to see one’s favourite players struggle to retain privileges for next yr.
Pepperell, talented & engaging but a touch of the dilettante about him.
Manassero, boy genius who promised so much but went a bit mad.
I hope they make. We need more variety.
@DPWorldTour 😀
I’ve had a couple of @PingTour sets going back to the 80s and with good memories.
Recently picked up a nice set of i230 irons for a good price. Look great but had zero feel.
Checked and all were C8-C9 SW, with 105g shafts.
Fixed now but how did they leave the factory? 🤔

I wonder if @helenhainesindi is aware that @NDIS does not apply if injured after age 65.
She will need massive assistance.
A friend of mine became paraplegic 2 weeks after his 65th birthday and got nothing.
Considering the waste and corruption, it’s a National disgrace.
There’s only one thing worse than an idiot.
And that’s an idiot who jumps to conclusions.
🙄
Pauline Hanson is personally responsible for ramping up a culture of hysterical HATE towards politicians & now Helen Haines is critically injured by a nutter outside her own electoral office. I see a direct link between the two. Hanson should tell her hoons to stand down. #auspol
Shocking.
Buy cotton clothing.
Buy woollen clothing.
There is a mountain of unworn clothes in the driest desert on earth, large enough to be photographed from space. It grows by 39,000 tons a year and almost none of it will ever rot.
The Atacama, in northern Chile, is a place where it may not rain for a decade. On its edge is a duty-free port called Iquique. Every year about 59,000 tons of clothing arrives there from Europe, America and Asia. It is last season's stock that never sold, and the bags people leave at charity shops.
Dealers pick through it for anything they can resell across South America. Two thirds of it is worthless. Nobody will pay to ship it back out, so lorries drive it into the desert at night and tip it.
The local landfill refuses to take it. The reason given is that the clothing does not biodegrade and is full of chemicals. Most of it is polyester, which is plastic, and in a place with no rain and no soil life it will lie there for centuries. Some of it is set alight, and the smoke drifts over a town of 100,000 people.
In 2025 a Chilean court ruled that the dumps had done serious damage to the land.
For most of history this could not have happened. Clothes were wool, linen and leather. They were worn out, handed down and patched, and at the very end a rag merchant paid for the scraps. In Yorkshire, from 1813, old woollens were shredded and spun into new cloth. Anything left went on the fields, where wool breaks down in months and feeds the grass.
Nobody ever had to find a desert for worn-out wool. We invented a fabric that cannot die, and then we started making it to be thrown away.

Elite golfers know but don’t say much unless asked.
High HCP golfers: few know this stuff.
10-12 HCP golfers: They know this stuff and will tell you for 18 holes.

In 1974 Australia had 8 oil refineries.
Today… 2.
This is what happens when we:
Allow foreign coys to dominate key industries.
Allow profiteers to offshore everything.
Allow too much Union power.
Tax everyone too much.
Drive up energy costs.
Pay ourselves too much.
In 1980 Tom Watson was leading money winner. He was only 24th in measured Drives, at 266 yards.
Golfers and officials who don’t understand that distance is purely RELATIVE to the course and the other competitors…well, they’re just idiots.
😀
Wonder what my wife will say when I tell her I need one of these. 😀
If 99.5% were ‘decimated’ this means that 89.55% survived.

We’re puppy-sitting our neighbour’s dog Luna tonight.
10yo Boxer/Staffie cross.
She sleeps for 10 hours and snores like a buzz saw. 😅
But such a good old girl.
Magnificent!
For the last 10 nights it’s been like Stalingrad here. As soon as darkness falls, they appear from nowhere and land on walls, in, and under everything.
And every 10 minutes, another scream from a comrade under attack. ‘OMG, there’s another 10 in the drawing room!!!’
Anyone know what type of moth this is?
I’m in NSW Australia. 🤔

Be warned. Many in The Greens and the looney left of Labor would like to keep trying Communism until they ‘get it right’.
In under four years, Cambodia's government killed about a quarter of its own people.
When the communist Khmer Rouge, led by Pol Pot, seized the country in 1975, they declared it "Year Zero." History would start over from scratch.
They emptied the cities at gunpoint, marching some two million people out of the capital and forced the entire population onto collective farms.
Money was abolished. So were private property, religion, and schools. The goal was a pure agrarian state, built by forced labor.
The Communists set out to erase anyone who might think for themselves. Being a doctor, a teacher, or a monk could get you killed. So could speaking a foreign language or simply wearing glasses.
To save bullets, executioners often used hammers, hoes and sharpened bamboo. The bodies filled the mass graves that became known as the Killing Fields.
By the time a Vietnamese invasion drove the Khmer Rouge out in 1979, between 1.5 and 2 million Cambodians were dead out of a population of roughly 8 million.
One in four Cambodians. Dead. Not by war or natural disaster. From their own Communist government.
