GOOD POINT👇👇👇 To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Yesterday I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone. I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my trolly, emptied my trolly and scanned the items, refilled my trolly and so I just skipped the exit line and left. I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store. You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be. • I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you. • If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine. • Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities. YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING. YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU. Signed ......All of us People we need to share this statement its basically about PROFIT to the stores AND putting People out of a JOB....!!!

I enjoyed Dominik Szoboszlai's goal against Arsenal as much as Danny Rose's wonder goal today

Two things it’s easy to take for granted: a loving, supportive family & to be pain-free & healthy.

Selling off reservoirs, failing to invest, polluting our water – these aren't just acts of negligence. They undermine our national water security. In an existential crisis we might call that what it is: sabotage. In a time of national peril, sabotage has another name: treason.

Is no one else wondering why Rashford wasn't good enough for the new Man U Manager? Three Prem games as a Sub for Villa and got Three Assists!

Never thought I would ever agree with Sadiq Kahn. But his stance against the Heathrow expansion is impressive - especially against his Labour Government.

Just had a promotion email from C2C the Train Company. Not to tell me of their great service, modern Trains or special offers. Oh no, they want to advertise that Fare Dodging isn't worth it. No wonder they are losing their francise ...

In 2005, a nursing home in the US got a six-month-old kitten named Oscar as a therapy cat. The staff soon noticed something unusual about him. Oscar often liked to be by himself, but sometimes he would go and lie next to one of the residents. Strangely, the resident he chose would often pass away within a few hours. At first, the workers didn't think it was important, but after it happened 20 times, they started to think Oscar knew when someone was going to die. So, they began to call the resident's family if they saw Oscar with them. Some people think Oscar could sense certain smells from dying cells, and that's why he went to comfort residents who were alone. There was even a time when the staff thought one resident was going to die, but Oscar stayed with a different, healthier-looking person, who then died first. Oscar lived until 2022 and was right about more than 100 deaths during his life.

Well said @prodnose “Rylan”, Amanda Holden, Ronan Keating, all given plum Radio gigs at the expense of DJ’s who’ve learnt their craft at Local/Hospital Radio Stations and all not a patch on him. They are NOT DJ’s. Steve Wright is irreplaceable. Am genuinely gutted 💔
