Does this shriveled old toad have her head up her shriveled old ass? Democrats just called Haley Stevens vermin, a clown, a traitor, a loser, they claimed she has a mental disorder and OH YEAH, compared her to a used condom. How stupid are Democrat voters? Really.
Hillary Clinton says it's important for Democrats to win so people will stop insulting each other. "Which would be so welcome!" Projection levels here are absolutely stratospheric.

Hwut. Am I in an alternate dimension or was there not just a widely circulated video of a college girl attacking a Jewish student?
This is false and dangerous rhetoric from Mike Rogers: “The next generation of kids thinks it’s really cool to be against the Jews.” No Mike, the next generation and my generation and the generations in between are against funding wars in the Middle East. Mike and others do a great disservice to Jewish people when they imply that opposition to Netanyahu’s wars is equivalent to antisemitism.

The true patriot owes his first loyalty to his country and not to his faction, and it takes a sturdy spirit to cross the aisle in the open. When old Detroit Democrats stand with Mike Rogers, Michigan should weigh their reasons with care tomorrow.

This is about more than Dem v Republican. This is about America...we can get back to the D v R battle but we have to put down this insidious element first.
🚨 BREAKING UPDATE: ANOTHER Michigan Democrat crosses over! Former Detroit Congressman Hansen Clarke (D) just endorsed Mike Rogers (R) for U.S. Senate over Abdul El Sayed "Choi Clarke and I stand with Congresswoman Haley Stevens in supporting Mike Rogers for the U.S. Senate." “I served with Mike in the U.S. House of Representatives. I know that he is committed to improving the quality of our lives, protecting our nation's security, and working with Democrats to get the job done." First Haley Stevens, now Hansen Clarke!! The people who know Abdul's party best are running to Rogers the day before the election 🔥 The Democrats in Michigan are PANICKING!

I’ve seen prayer circles on X do amazing things. Yall. Can we please actively, intentionally pray for Jayce and those making his treatment decisions?
I rarely bring my issues to social media, but my family needs help. We need prayer in the worst of ways for the worst of reasons. Our 19 year old grandson, Jayce, who has Type 1 Diabetes, is in ICU, after developing an infection in his brain that is causing his temperature to drop to hypothermic levels and his heartrate to drop to 40. They are transporting him today to a hospital that has the medication (it's rare) that can fight the infection. They are testing for meningitis as well as the possibility of strokes. He is in and out of coherence. The doctors give him a 50/50 chance of survival. My wife will be heading up there (Washington state) as soon as she books her flight. We are a close family, so we have each other, and a family that leans on God for support, always. Please, if you have the time or inclination, pray for Jayce, our daughter Lindsey (my stepdaughter) and the doctors/nurses. Thank you

I will say it again, I will never hate Trump enough for the never trumpers and I will never love Trump enough for the always trumpers but I don’t let him live rent free in my head and I won’t abandon everything I believe in because of the GOP becoming MAGA. I hope one day we can move past all the ridiculousness of both sides of this and be more united as a coalition. I’m not holding my breath but maybe we can try. Stop letting how you feel about Trump dictate your politics.

I would love to see your thoughts on this. In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court held that district judges generally may not issue nationwide injunctions that halt federal policies across the United States for parties not party to the litigation. Writing for the majority, Barrett stated: “Justice Jackson, however, adopts a surprising line of critique that lacks grounding in established sources or recognized doctrine. Characterizing concerns about judicial authority as ‘mind-numbingly technical,’ she proposes a conception of the judicial function that would challenge even the strongest proponents of judicial supremacy.” Barrett continued: “We will not elaborate on Justice Jackson’s position, which conflicts with more than two centuries of precedent and the Constitution itself. We note only that Justice Jackson criticizes an imperial Executive while advocating an imperial Judiciary.” The Court held that district judges generally may not issue nationwide injunctions that halt federal policies across the United States for parties not party to the litigation.

It will be interesting to see how independents break in West Virginia. 25% of voters are registered as no party.
West Virginia's early vote as of Nov. 2: ~169K ballots, in person plus absentee. By party registration it's R+4. At the end of early voting it was R+10 in 2022 and R+19 in 2024.* 🧵 *Comparisons to 2022 and 2024 do not include the approximately 21K and 30K voters who have dropped off the voter rolls due to death, moves or other reasons. Thus, percentage comparisons aren't apples-to-apples. Party margins are the cleaner comparison, but some voters may have switched parties since 2022/24. ~21K voters have dropped off the rolls from 2024 and ~30K from 2022.

WHOA: Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens tells Scott Jennings that she’s receiving a MASSIVE outpouring of gratitude and support from DEMOCRATS for endorsing Republican Mike Rogers over Abdul El-Sayed. Democrats are privately thanking Stevens for having the courage to do what she did. STEVENS: “At the end of the day, I made a decision.” “And you know what? I’m hearing from a ton of people, and maybe they don’t want to come forward, but I’m hearing from a TON of people all over who are agreeing and are thanking me for just saying what I feel.” “And they’re Democrats by the way, Scott!” There are many Democrats stuck in the party who want to do what Stevens did but are too scared to do so publicly.
RECENT HIGH: Abdul El-Sayed’s odds to win the Michigan Senate race rise to 79% — his highest odds since winning the primary in August

E a memória? Ele me acolhe sem fazer perguntas.

Nov 1, 1950: Two gunmen tried to fight their way into Blair House to kill President Harry Truman. It lasted about 40 seconds, and a White House police officer named Leslie Coffelt gave his life to stop it. The White House was falling apart. In 1948 one leg of Margaret Truman's piano had pushed through the floor, and engineers found the building was in danger of collapse. The inside was gutted and completely rebuilt. While that went on, the Trumans lived across Pennsylvania Avenue at Blair House, the government's guest residence. It sat right on the sidewalk, guarded by police officers in two small booths at either end and agents inside. Oscar Collazo and Griselio Torresola were Puerto Rican nationalists living in New York. Collazo was 36, a metal polisher with a family. Torresola was 25, from the mountain town of Jayuya. On Oct 30, their party launched armed uprisings across Puerto Rico. In Jayuya, National Guard planes bombed and strafed the town. The two men decided to make the world pay attention by killing the president of the United States. They took a train to Washington and checked into a hotel. On the afternoon of Nov 1, Truman had finished lunch and gone upstairs to take a nap before a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Around 2:20, the two men walked up Pennsylvania Avenue from opposite directions. Collazo came from the east. He walked up behind Officer Donald Birdzell, who was standing on the front steps, pulled out a pistol, and pulled the trigger. It didn't fire. He hadn't loaded a round properly. He fixed it and fired, hitting Birdzell in the leg. Birdzell stumbled into the street to draw fire away from the door. Officers and Secret Service agents at the east end opened fire on Collazo. He went down on the steps, shot in the chest. At the same moment Torresola came from the west. He walked straight up to the guard booth where Officer Leslie Coffelt was sitting and shot him three times at close range with a Luger. Then he shot Officer Joseph Downs, who was heading to the basement door, and fired at Birdzell, hitting him in his other leg. He stopped beside a hedge near the steps to reload. Above him, Truman was woken by the noise and went to the open window to look down. Someone on the street yelled at him to get back. Coffelt was dying. He pulled himself out of the booth, leaned against it, raised his revolver, and fired at Torresola from about 30 feet away. The bullet hit Torresola in the head and killed him instantly. It was over. Around 30 shots had been fired in less than a minute. Collazo was alive and taken into custody. Birdzell and Downs survived their wounds. Coffelt was rushed to the hospital and died about four hours later. He was 40 years old, a World War II veteran, and had a wife and a stepdaughter. That afternoon, Truman went to Arlington and gave his speech as planned. He told people a president has to expect things like that. Collazo was convicted and sentenced to death. Truman commuted his sentence to life in prison. In 1979 President Jimmy Carter released him, and he returned to Puerto Rico. He died there in 1994. Coffelt was buried at Arlington. He is the only member of the Secret Service ever killed defending a president from an assassin. A plaque at Blair House marks the spot where he stood his ground. If he hadn't fired that last shot, Torresola, reloaded and standing a few feet from the front door, would have had a clear path into the house. Remember the name Leslie Coffelt.
