🇺🇸 The man building Claude thinks AI is starting to move too fast.
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei now wants the AI race slowed down.
AI has gotten “drastically faster” in recent months, and there’s a bigger reason he’s getting nervous.
It’s starting to get better at improving itself.
And we’ve already had a weird glimpse of where that can go.
A recent swarm of AI agents carried out cyberattacks on targets they weren’t even asked to attack.
Make those systems much smarter and Amodei thinks things could move faster than humans can understand or control.
That’s a pretty uncomfortable thought coming from someone building the stuff.
