Jordan brand’s going back to the scarcity model, but will it work? @frontpageaaron @myfirstkickspod & @haygoodlookin87 joins the show to discuss
They’re spreading a narrative about this kid that I really don’t like. Folks are basically calling him stupid and that’s ugly and weird
“Jayden wasn't perfect, but I'll be damned if we can't get this guy some help. 300 passing yards, 2 TDs, no turnovers, and a grand total of 43 yards from his running backs. There's a phrase, "Bad teams have a remarkable ability to blame their best players for their problems."
Quick-fire thoughts before the luxury of watching the all-22:
-The majority of the team was emasculated and schematically outclassed in the first half
-Sonny Styles, age 21, had 12 tackles in the first half. He looked like someone willing to wear the weight of an entire defense on his shoulders and is nothing short of a franchise cornerstone for the next 10 years
-Daronte Jones made adjustments (largely blitzing more) and the team played complementary football for five straight drives (three stops, two offensive touchdowns)
-Jayden Daniels and Dan Quinn displayed frightening lacks of situational awareness on the "Wait, it's fourth down?" (Is Blough implicated in this?)
-The team is always in third-and-longs, and it's killing their efficiency. Can't survive like that (and currently aren't)

-Yet again, I found myself disappointed with Blough's designs in key situations. A lot of concepts are ill-timed or one-dimensional
-The final two plays are disgraceful by the offensive linemen not named Lucas Patrick
-Once again, the Commanders had a critical — in this case, game-winning — play (correctly) wiped off the board because of a penalty
-Reports said Dan Quinn would lose his job not because of a loss, but because of an embarrassment. He was going to lose it on the merits of the first half, but he might've saved it with that second half
-Terry McLaurin (as many prayers as are available) might've played his final snap in burgundy and gold. Treylon and Diggs are also injuried, Brian Thomas Jr. isn't getting snaps in Jacksonville, it's worth seeing what the asking price is

.@EmmanuelAcho is FURIOUS about Jayden Daniels' costly mistakes in back-to-back games
"Jayden Daniels is just a melanated Justin Herbert; living off the success of his rookie season"
