A former Square Enix executive has mocked Valve for spending so much money on boats that it apparently can’t afford to hire a sixth Steam reviewer.
Jacob Navok criticised the platform after Valve admitted that game approvals are taking up to 12 business days due to a growing backlog and repeated reviews.
He compared Steam with Roblox, pointing out that Steam makes 3x more revenue, while Roblox releases up to 1,000 times more games per day. Despite that, Roblox can approve games in seconds using an automated system.
Navok called Steam “derelict of its duty”, arguing that Valve needs to invest more in moderation.
Was just told I can use game console as write off for business because it accesses internet. So is computer. Fumos are looking at Switch 2.

I gave Claude Opus access to a VM with TempleOS, and asked it to make a simple game. After musing for hours, unsuccessfully, it started to utter "Glory!" in different languages, then it shut off my PC. After restarting, my Claude Code plugin, and all the history, were gone.
