2 tier policing on display. Hateful images are ignored when accompanied by a Palestinian flag. It's like the Palestine flag is a cloak of invisibility
A Montreal Jewish man arrested while holding an Israeli flag at a cycling race is suing the city and four police officers for more than $86,000. Daniel Bercovici alleges excessive force, unlawful arrest and false police reports. The criminal charge against him was later withdrawn.

Good morning X family and Shabbat Shalom to all. I hope everyone has a really nice day and a very relaxing weekend!
This is my birthday weekend, I turn 63 on 🎃. Kind of interesting, turning 63, and born in 1963. Wishing for another healthy year ahead for the benefit of my kids!

In Toronto Canada, when we see a sign that says “free palestine” or a🇵🇸, we see a weapon; a gun, a bomb a rifle…
We’re terrified in Canada.
Carney, our PM wants us to embrace Islam.
We’ve never encountered terrorists ever before in our lives and our government is funding it.

Mames Gruv
(My Mother’s Grave)
🎷In 1945, in Bratslav, Ukraine, a 10-year-old Jewish orphan named Valya Roytlender sang a short song to Soviet ethnomusicologists. His mother had been murdered.
🎷The song is almost unbearably simple. The boy walks away from her grave and speaks to her:
“Mama, I won’t return to you again.
Oh mama, who will wake me up?
Oh mama, who will tuck me in at night?”
🎷He imagines the morning stars and the rainbow taking her place, because she is gone forever. Then he says he wanders like a sheep in the field and can never reach any shore.
🎷This is not poetry written later for effect. This is a real child’s voice, recorded right after the war, still trying to understand what had been taken from him.
🎷The song was collected by Moisei Beregovsky’s team, then buried for decades under Stalin. Like so many of these songs, its survival is almost miraculous.
🎷It belongs next to “Tulchin”, another child’s testimony from the same destroyed world.
Never forget.
