I dont Trust Carnage at all. I will rather trust a snake. 🐍
🚨 JUST NOW: President Trump announces Canada will be DROPPING TARIFFS on American farmers, in a gigantic win "Our farmers pay tremendous tariffs to send things to Canada. All those tariffs will be DONE! There will be NO tariffs. There will be no tariffs. They were paying as much as 400 percent." "So part of the agreement is that our farmers will have to pay no tariffs." Simply amazing. Trump has been dealmaking for WEEKS, and it's all coming to a close soon If Canada upholds their end of the deal, they will realize why they should treat the USA with RESPECT 🇺🇸🇨🇦

🎷🎷Hudson’s Bay Company🎷🎷 When I first arrived in Canada 2009, you were more than just a store to me. You were my store. As a newcomer trying to build a life in a new country, I proudly bought my household essentials from you. Every purchase was a small part of building my new home and finding my place in Canada. Today, when I walk past those same aisles, the shelves and spaces bring back memories. But the brand is no longer there. And somehow, its absence leaves behind an emptiness that is difficult to explain. For many people, you may have been just another department store. For me, you were part of my Canadian journey. You were there during the early days, when everything was new and every little step toward building a home mattered. It breaks my heart to see a brand so deeply woven into Canada’s history fade away. I sometimes wish I could turn back the clock, even if only for a moment. And here is a humble, perhaps unrealistic, wish: if there were ever a chance to acquire the Hudson’s Bay domain for just $1, I would love to try to bring the name back to life in some small way. Perhaps it is too much to ask, but sometimes the most meaningful things begin with an impossible dream. Some stores sell products. Others become part of our memories. You were the latter. I will forever miss HudsonBay. With heartfelt nostalgia, ki

🎷🎷WEEKLY HOLOCAUST BOOK SERIES: IBM and the Holocaust by Edwin Black 🎷🎷 ________________________________________ 🎷This is the book that revealed one of the most disturbing truths of the Holocaust, and one that remained buried for more than half a century. 🎷Edwin Black, an award-winning investigative writer and the son of Polish Holocaust survivors, spent years digging through archives in seven countries. What he found was damning: IBM’s technology and Hollerith punch-card machines were deeply woven into the Nazi system of identification, tracking, deportation, and mass murder. 🎷From 1933 onward, IBM supplied, maintained, and customized the machines that helped the Nazis count Jews, enforce racial laws, organize ghettos, schedule the trains, and run the camps. Nearly every concentration camp had a Hollerith department. The cold efficiency of the killing was made sharper and faster by this technology. Without it, the Nazis would never have achieved the same industrial scale of murder. 🎷Black’s research has never been successfully debunked. IBM has never requested a single correction and has never apologized. This is not just corporate history. 🎷It is the story of how human beings were turned into data, and how one of America’s most powerful companies helped make the machinery of death run more smoothly.

🎷🎷Weekly series: Paintings by Jewish artists related to the Holocaust and WWII.🎷🎷 ______________________________ 🎷These works were created by Jewish artists, some who survived the camps and ghettos, some who were murdered, and some who painted from exile. Another way to remember the Holocaust and those who perished. 🎷This week’s painting is Gassing (also called Gazage) by David Olère. 🎷David Olère was a Polish Jewish painter who lived in France. In 1943 he was deported to Auschwitz and forced to work in the Sonderkommando, the unit of prisoners made to empty the gas chambers and burn the bodies. He survived because the SS used his skills as an artist. After liberation he devoted his art almost entirely to documenting what he had witnessed. He is the only known Jewish Sonderkommando survivor who created an extensive visual record of the killing process. 🎷In this 1960 painting, Olère shows the interior of a gas chamber. Crowded, emaciated bodies of men, women, and children fill the space. Some still stand; others have already fallen. A Zyklon B container is visible. The colors are muted and heavy. 🎷Olère could not have been inside the chamber during the gassing itself, his work began afterward. The painting is a reconstruction based on what he saw, heard, and lived through as an actual witness to the worst horrors of Auschwitz. Very few paintings by actual witnesses and survivors of the death camps reached us. Works like this one remain among the rare lasting visual testimonies & a necessary reminder. At a time when Holocaust denial continues to rise, his testimony as a survivor who stood inside the machinery of death carries particular weight. 🎷The painting is associated with the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York.

What! Makes me furious I want these 2 accounts back. @russianjewess @ApexImperialist @X @PremiumBusiness @Safety @Subscriptions @Premium I request the reinstatement of 2 suspended accounts. Please stop relying solely on autonomous AI systems for suspension decisions and introduce mandatory manual reviews by human moderators. If necessary, impose a temporary delay while the accounts are reviewed, but pls. ensure that a human reviews each case before making a final decision. Automated systems can make mistakes, and users deserve a fair opportunity to have those errors corrected. Pls. manually review both accounts and reinstate them if no genuine policy violations are found. Make it an absolute fair play.

Long. Important thread. A Shadow in the Record of Silence 1. I am here. At least, that is how it looks to the living. But inside, the clock has stopped. Part of me remains trapped among the steel containers, the smell, and the deafening silence of Beit Shura. Since that day, I have walked through this world as a shadow of the person I used to be, trying to return but unable to find the way back. Now I am standing here by the hangar wall. I see them—the living. They walk around in white protective suits, like astronauts who have landed on a dead planet. I hear the hum of the refrigerated containers. I would recognize that sound among a thousand others: the low, monotonous rumble of Thermo King generators. They run without rest so the cold will keep the smell from escaping. But the smell is more cunning. It passes through metal, through mask filters, through skin. Welcome to Machane Shura, the military rabbinate base. Before October 7, it was quiet here. Fallen soldiers were brought here—one or two a year. With respect. In silence. Then the world turned upside down. I remember the first day. Trucks. Not military Humvees, but ordinary freight trucks, supermarket refrigerated trucks, trucks used to transport chickens. They lined up. Liquid leaked from them, leaving dark, greasy puddles on the asphalt. We spread sand over the puddles so we would not slip. Slipping on what was once a person is terrifying. There was nowhere near enough space. The containers were not placed on the parade ground; they would have been too visible there. They were stacked at the far end of the base, in a tight ring around the building where we carried out the examinations. An entire city of metal. And after a week, the laws of physics caught up with us. The refrigerated containers held the temperature at four degrees Celsius above zero, not below. That was enough for food, but not for what had lain inside for weeks. The bodies began to thaw. Then came a hell the newspapers do not describe. The liquid. It was everywhere. Bodies we had not yet managed to examine lay on stretchers in the corridors, waiting their turn. Liquid dripped, streamed, and poured from the bags onto the floor. Heavy, oily puddles formed. You could not even walk to the bathroom without stepping in what had been a person. You walked down the corridor, and it squelched beneath your feet. The sludge flowed out of the building, along the gutters, across the thresholds, and into the street. It soaked the ground around the hangar. Outside, the asphalt and soil were black and wet, as though there had been a downpour. But the sky was clear. It was not rain. It was them. Sometimes it felt as though I was walking home knee-deep in that liquid. I had to throw my shoes away. The soles had absorbed death, and no amount of bleach could remove it. You think hell is fire? No. Hell is white bags. Thousands of white bags piled in containers. I am a forensic investigator. My work is facts: fingerprints, genetics, dental records. Before October 7, I believed science could explain everything, that death had an order to it. But there was no order here. We were assigned to identify the dead. We were not ready. No one was. There were stainless-steel tables in the room. Cold. The light from the lamps was sterile and merciless. These were not purpose-made body bags with zippers. The country did not have enough of those. They were simply enormous, thick white plastic bags, like garbage bags. Their openings were pulled tight with plastic ties. There was no way to untie or unzip them. We simply cut them open. The sound of a knife cutting through taut plastic became the sound of our nightmare. Sometimes there was a person inside. Sometimes a part of one. Sometimes just charcoal - a small charred piece the size of a doll. When we cut open those bags, we were confronted with more than the dead. Reality spilled out at us: decomposed organs, body parts, a mangled mass.

Liberals had that $$$$. This isn’t a grant or a handout. It’s a phased equity investment of up to $1.6 billion, alongside private-sector investors, tied to commitments to create over 1k ONLY Canadian tech jobs and spend $1.7 billion on computing infrastructure in Canada. Questioning the terms of the equity deal is perfectly reasonable, but portraying it as simply handing out taxpayers’ money misrepresents the arrangement.
JUST IN - the Liberals are now a VENTURE CAPITAL FUND!!
They’re giving up to $1.6 BILLION to Cohere no joke, this is Dragons' Den with YOUR money 😂 Carney wont even say how much equity we’re getting meanwhile Cohere is busy merging with a German company They already gave them $240 million. I’d congratulate the founder for locking in our taxpayer dough but he blocked me. ☹️

🎷🎷We continue our weekly post of Yiddish songs from the Holocaust and WWII.🎷🎷 _________________________________ Mames Gruv (My Mother’s Grave) 🎷In 1945, in Bratslav, Ukraine, a 10-year-old Jewish orphan named Valya Roytlender sang a short song to Soviet ethnomusicologists. His mother had been murdered. 🎷The song is almost unbearably simple. The boy walks away from her grave and speaks to her: “Mama, I won’t return to you again. Oh mama, who will wake me up? Oh mama, who will tuck me in at night?” 🎷He imagines the morning stars and the rainbow taking her place, because she is gone forever. Then he says he wanders like a sheep in the field and can never reach any shore. 🎷This is not poetry written later for effect. This is a real child’s voice, recorded right after the war, still trying to understand what had been taken from him. 🎷The song was collected by Moisei Beregovsky’s team, then buried for decades under Stalin. Like so many of these songs, its survival is almost miraculous. 🎷It belongs next to “Tulchin”, another child’s testimony from the same destroyed world. Never forget.
