How many times has a marginalized people stated "Hey this ideological group means us harm!"? Often only for a dismissive white majority to not listen and later realize "Oh, they weren't exaggerating". It has been more than once, and one dealt with gay people's pleas.

Yes. You are very disappointing... and dishonest. Let's try one more clear example.... Gay conversion therapy is harmful and unscientific and rooted in ignorance that leads to harm/death. But it is inaccurate to pretend that someone advocating it wants gay people to be harmed.
