'Patricia Crone demolished'
You don't feel embarrassed using these sources as authorities when you know what they say about the Christian tradition? You realise how desperate it looks to appeal to such authorities?

They said: "May God have mercy upon you! What is your position concerning Abu Bakr and Umar?"
Zayd replied: "May God have mercy upon them both and forgive them. I have never heard anyone from my household repudiate them, nor have I heard anyone say anything about them except good."
They said: "Then why, in that case, do you seek vengeance for the blood of the members of this Household? Is it not because they seized your authority and wrested it from your hands?"
Zayd then said to them:
"The strongest thing I can say concerning what you have mentioned is that we were more entitled than all other people to the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace. Yet those people appropriated it exclusively for themselves, to our exclusion, and pushed us away from it. But that did not bring them, in our estimation, to the point of disbelief. They assumed authority, acted justly among the people, and acted according to the Book and the Sunnah."
They said: "Then why have these people wronged you, if those [earlier ones] did not wrong you? Why, then, do you call [people] to fight against a people who are not wrongdoers towards you?"
He replied: "These people, however, are not like those people. These people are wrongdoers towards me, towards you, and towards themselves. We are only calling you to the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace; to the Prophetic traditions being revived, and to the religious innovations being extinguished. If you respond to us, you will attain felicity; but if you refuse, I am not your wakīl [one responsible for you]."
They then separated from him and broke their pledge of allegiance to him, saying: "The Imam has preceded us!"
They used to maintain that Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali, the brother of Zayd ibn Ali, was the Imam, although he had already died by that time. His son, Ja'far ibn Muhammad, was still alive. They therefore said:
"Ja'far is our Imam today, after his father. He has a greater right to the affair after his father, and we shall not follow Zayd ibn Ali, for he is not an Imam."
Zayd consequently called them al-Rāfiḍah (the Rejecters). Today, however, they claim that the person who named them al-Rāfiḍah was al-Mughīrah, because they had separated from him.
A group among them had, before Zayd's uprising, gone to Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Ali and said to him:
"Zayd ibn Ali is receiving pledges of allegiance from us. Do you consider it appropriate for us to pledge allegiance to him?"
He replied:
"Yes, pledge allegiance to him. For, by God, he is the best of us, our master, and the finest of us."
They then returned but concealed what he had instructed them to do.

It’s pretty amazing how Islamists are the boogeyman of All the rotten nations of the world .
No other ideology can claim to be the number one fear of modern tyrants as much as Islamism
Anyone that doubts the death of the Scholastic-clerical class is delusional I am sorry. No amount of Quizzes on Arabic grammar will change that
Alawi is a fascinating case of An Arab Marxist that seemed to have earnestly engaged with the Islamic tradition instead of being a Reddit atheist. Now don’t get me wrong he was definitely not orthodox but his case is more of a heterodoxy rather than straight up anti Islam
Few Arab intellectuals have woven Marxism, Sufism, and Taoism into a single worldview as boldly as Hadi al-‘Alawi, an Iraqi Marxist scholar who spent his life rethinking Arab heritage (turath) through anti-authoritarian spirituality and social justice.

Lie #4 “Against revolutions, proponents of Tyrants”
As for rebellions or revolutions or whatever you wanna call them, if its against Muslim rulers, regardless if they sin, oppress or rule by other than what Allah revealed, it is not permissible to rebel against them unless we see clear and manifest disbelief, in which there is no ta’wil, or ikhtilaf, like insulting Allah, or rejecting a pillar from the pillars Islam and so on.
Imam Muḥammad bin Ṣāliḥ al-'Uthaymīn says in Liqāʾ al-Bāb al-Maftūḥ (19/179) about protests:
“You must adhere to the path of the Salaf. If this matter was present among the Salaf, then it is good; and if it was not present, then it is evil. There is no doubt that demonstrations (protests) are evil, because they lead to chaos—both from the demonstrators and from others. Transgressions may well occur during them: whether against people's honor, property, or physical bodies. This is because in the midst of this anarchy, a person might become like one who is intoxicated—not knowing what he says or what he does. Therefore, demonstrations are entirely evil, whether the ruler permits them or does not permit them.
And the permission of some rulers for them is nothing more than mere propaganda; otherwise, if you were to refer to what is inside his heart, he would detest them most severely. However, he pretends to be—as they say—'democratic,' and that he has opened the door of freedom for the people; and this is not from the way of the Salaf.”
And as for being “Proponents of Tyrants”, Shaykh Rabī‘ ibn Hādī was against the oppression of any ruler.
In al-Dharīʿah ilā Bayān Maqāṣid Kitāb al-Sharīʿah of S͟hayk͟h Rabee’ (رحمه الله), vol. 1, page 132, he says:
“When we speak with this methodology, it is not out of loyalty to rulers who do not rule by what Allāh has revealed. By Allāh, we hate them and declare our disavowal before Allāh from them and from their laws. We say: with them is kufr ʿadna kufr (minor disbelief), and it may be that some of them fall into major kufr — if he believes that these laws are better than the ruling of Allāh, or believes that they are equal to the Qurʾān and Sunnah — then he is a kāfir. And if he says that they are less than the Book and Sunnah but it is permissible to rule by them — then he is a kāfir.”

This is a DC thinktank way of viewing it. The other way to view it is that the hold of Zion-Gulf capital that has castrated Arab/Muslim power since the Arab Spring (if not Gulf War I) is finally being unshackled. This is the most hopeful development in the region in a generation
